“Good”

“Ich war das erste Mal in diesem Hotel und von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute begeistert. Die Lage ist perfekt, in wenigen Gehminuten ist man in der Altstadt, der Strand ist ohnehin vor dem Hotel. Mein Zimmer war super, mit Meerblick und sehr sauber. Auch vom lauten Treiben an der Promenade war nichts zu hören. Das Bett für meinen Geschmack etwas hart, aber für andere passt es vielleicht genau. Große Auswahl an internationalen und landestypischen Köstlichkeiten beim Frühstücksbuffet, frisch gepresster Orangensaft wäre noch toll. Die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, Kommunikation auf Englisch funktioniert super. Tolle Anlage mit 3 Hotels, von denen die jeweiligen Einrichtungen, Pools usw. wechselweise benutzt werden können.”

“So just spent a lovely week in a top floor/superior room here, I would suggest well worth the extra as the room was the highlight of our stay, lovely big terrace with loungers and chairs. Bathroom clean, great shower, huge bed. We travel a lot and we decided one of the best rooms overall we have ever stayed in. Reception staff friendly , room was ready a little early too , Location fab , took train to m Malaga, walked to Benalmadena and lots of great shops and food places around. Staff nearly all great, the beach/horizon bar less so, waited 45mins to order a pizza, no structure just told to grab a waiter who looked the other way! Indoor pool full of teenagers diving very unsafe and no lifeguard. Gym basic. Spa- had a great massage and spa circuit, Our biggest let down was the food- dirty plates, bland and somewhat odd choices. Labelling was haphazard so managed but after 3 days, a few dodgy tummies we opted to eat out even though we had all inclusive. We would stay again as lots to like but would not have food there again.”

“Muy buena experiencia en general y se agradece que el Don Marco sea para adultos, aunque aveces algunos abuelos(extranjeros ) hacen más ruido que algunos jóvenes en la zona de bar.”

“Hotel em frente à praia, quartos com tamanho muito bom. Banheiro com pia externa e compartimentado, excelente para casal. Possui varanda, bom para estender as roupas de praia. Disponibiliza toalhas de praia, mas não possui cadeiras na praia. Entretanto é barato loca-las na praia em frente. O café da manhã é bom, com opções de panquecas e ovos feitos na hora, porém o café da máquina é muito ruim, do tipo solúvel.”

“Je séjourne actuellement au Sol Don Marco à Torremolinos et j’avoue être perplexe sur cet hôtel. L’hôtel est labellisé « adult recommended » mais fait en réalité partie d’un complexe plus grand composé du Sol Don Pablo et du Sol Don Pedro. Quand vous séjournez dans un des trois hôtels, vous pouvez utiliser n’importe quelle infrastructure dans la mesure où les hôtels sont reliés. Il y a deux piscines au Don Pablo, deux piscines au Don Pedro et une minuscule et mal exposée réservée aux adultes au Don Marco. Le problème c’est que quand vous voulez aller au bar ou au restaurant il n’y a rien au don Marco de telle sorte que pour la restauration il faut aller dans un deux autres restaurants et pour la piscine si vous voulez profiter du tout inclus vous vous retrouvez à la piscine calme du Don Pedro. Le midi vous n’avez accès pour le déjeuner qu’au restaurant immense du Don Pablo (triste et sombre). J’ai payé plus cher pour le Don Marco que pour un séjour dans un deux autres hôtels, et je me sens floué car au final il n’y a aucun intérêt à payer pour cet hôtel (qui de plus est relié avec le Don Pedro, le bar de celui-ci se trouvant derrière la réception) Le soir l’animation principale se déroule au niveau du bar immense et bondé du Don Pablo ou se melange la population des trois hôtels. Alors certes les équipements, la nourriture, et le tout inclus sont de bonne qualité, l’accueil par Eva a été particulièrement bon, le personnel est agréable en majeure partie (mention pour Katerina et Rafa), mais il n’en demeure pas moins que lorsque l’on vous vend une ambiance calme et que vous retrouvez avec un ado qui fait des plongeons à la piscine ou des familles avec leur nourrisson au bar, je ne vois pas l’intérêt du prix que j’ai payé. J’ai donc l’impression d’avoir été trompé sur la marchandise (j’ai voulu prolonger mon séjour de trois nuits et on m’a proposé un prix de plus de 1100 euros…) Je ne recommande donc pas car il ne s’agit pas d’un adult only et si vous devez réservez privilégiez la version moins chère au Don Pedro (Translated by Google) I'm currently staying at the Sol Don Marco in Torremolinos, and I admit I'm confused about this hotel. The problem is that when you want to go to the bar or restaurant, there's nothing at the Don Marco, so for food you have to go to one of two other restaurants, and for the pool, if you want to enjoy the all-inclusive option, you end up at the quiet pool at the Don Pedro. At lunchtime, you only have access to the huge restaurant at the Don Pablo (dreary and dark). I paid more for the Don Marco than I would have for a stay at two other hotels, and I feel cheated because, ultimately, there's no point in paying for this hotel (which is also connected to the Don Pedro, whose bar is located behind reception). In the evening, the main entertainment takes place in the huge and crowded bar at the Don Pablo, where guests from all three hotels mingle. While the facilities, food, and all-inclusive offer are of good quality, Eva's welcome was particularly good, and the staff is mostly pleasant (special mention goes to Katerina and Rafa), the fact remains that when you're sold a calm atmosphere and you end up with a teenager diving in the pool or families with their babies at the bar, I don't see the point of the price I paid. So I feel like I was misled (I wanted to extend my stay by three nights and was offered a price of over €1,100...) I therefore don't recommend it because it's not an adults-only hotel, and if you must book, choose the cheaper version at the Don Pedro.”

“Fantastic resort hotel, amazing balconies on the top floor rooms, more or less right on the beach. Our first time in a resort hotel, and we barely left we enjoyed it so much. Buffet breakfast was good, great variety even if the sausages etc weren't to my liking 🤣 Will definitely be back, a great place for a relaxing sun holiday”

“Just spent 5 nights here at Don Marco and it did not disappoint. Fabulous hotel, part of the Sol Torremolinos complex along with the Don Pablo and Don Pedro. It's right on the beach front and about 15 mins from the airport. You get access to all of the facilities at all hotels which was an unexpected bonus. Lots of pools and plenty of sun loungers. We always found some no matter how busy it was. Staff also placed notes on beds after towels have been left there to say they will be removed after an hour as reserving sunbeds isn't allowed. This meant no sunbed wars or mad rush at 7 am .. just a lovely chilled walk to one of the many pools, choose a free sunbed and relax. Perfect! Food was decent. We only had breakfast and it as you'd expect for hotel buffet. We had a lovely modern room with a view over the gardens, entrance and pool. There were 3 lots of entertainment on every night so something for everyone as well as a kids disco at the Don Pablo. It's a family complex but the Marco is the adults recommended one and has adult only pools and a chilled restaurant/bar for breakfast. Staff were all really friendly and helpful too. Lovely holiday here and we'd definitely return.”

“Massively impressed by this resort. I had very little in the way of knowledge of the place at the point of booking and had done very little research either. The fact that you can use all of the facilities from the three hotels is a huge bonus. Location, staff, rooms, facilities all excellent. Will 100 percent return. Thanks for a lovely stay.”

“Second time staying on the complex, booked the XTRA top floor room but unfortunately air-conditioning wasnt good, after 3 trips to reception the girl moved us to another smaller beach front room, staff were very helpful and offered us half board as an apology which was appreciated. We dont eat buffet food but tried it one evening only to find the beef and fish was completely under cooked and left. This hotel is the best facilities and rooms in the area breakfast is decent but would not recommend the restaurant.”

La puntuación es de 4 estrellas y no 5 al ser necesario dar una vuelta a los espectáculos nocturnos, es necesario una mayor alegría en ellos, como ejemplo en el Melia Costa del Sol hubo varios DJ poniendo muy buenos temas. También la necesidad de renovar las bicicletas de spining.”

“Great hotel as part of a complex of three hotels, with Marco having the adult only areas, including a MUCH calmer breakfast buffet than the other two. One minor thing to note is maybe bring a post-it to cover the motion sensor that turns on the bathroom floor light as it catches movement in the bed.”

“Un hotel maravilloso en primera línea de playa!! Cerca de chiringuitos, restaurantes…. El desayuno buffet de maravilla. Si vais en MP recomiendo las comidas, aunque se puede cambiar diariamente… Las camas son bastante cómodas y grandes, las habitaciones están bien en general… piscinas estupendas! Todo lo necesario para descansar varios días! Parking dentro del hotel, pocas plazas y algo pequeño.”
