“Had a fantastic stay at Hotel Mistral in St Julian’s. The reception staff were incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment I arrived, which really set the tone for the whole trip. The hotel is spotless and the bed was honestly one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in while travelling. Everyone working there is a real credit to their profession. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back next time I’m in Malta. Highly recommend!”

We were actually supposed to stay at Hotel Scirocco around the corner but they brought us around the corner to this hotel because of construction and they didn't want us to be disturbed during our stay. That was very considerate. Our hotel was clean, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, always smiling. We would love to stay here again whenever we come back to Malta.”

The hotel is situated in a central area that makes getting around very simple. Just a minute's walk away, there are two bus stops offering fast and convenient connections to various parts of the city. For anyone looking for a mix of relaxation and nightlife, this hotel is ideal. It is located close to Paceville, the center of evening entertainment with bars, clubs, and venues. Furthermore, it is surrounded by shops (including the main shopping street), 24-hour supermarkets, and numerous tourist attractions. ​The real strength of this property is its staff, whose professionalism and kindness made our stay unforgettable. ​Upon arrival, we were welcomed by a young man at the reception (whose name we unfortunately do not recall) who was extremely kind and helpful; managing our check-in with a smile and a thoughtfulness that made us feel immediately at home. A special thank you also goes to Tania: she was super welcoming, kind, and incredibly sweet, always ready to answer our questions and help us in every way. We also want to mention Larkin, one of the young men who looks after the breakfast room. “Brilliant location to be right near the strip, spa 2 mins walk... food places all on your door step. Party/clubs are about 10 mins walk. Great location for party and sleep. Staff are absolutely friendly including the breakfast staff. Slight downside for vegetarians, the breakfast did have a simple buffet, however no fried/poached eggs or omelette and no veggie sauces or hashbrowns etc. But they do have deli meat/cheese and salads. Still an amazing clean hotel.”

“The receptionist here who is called Alma is absolutely fantastic , nothing was too much trouble when I asked for help , however another member of staff called ALEXIS was totally rude and unprofessional ! I do not hold this against the hotel but they should not have people with such attitude working in customer services , she made me feel like a criminal for staining a pillow case when I was sick with sunstroke in front of other guests hence losing the hotel 2 stars for service , other than that the hotel is great”
