“We spent three weeks at this Hotel. The service from the staff in general was excellent, especially Salomé and Mónica in the dining room. They were always smiling and helped us when we needed something.”

“As a seasoned traveler I think I can say without blushing that I can review a place unbiased. The Ocean House hotel's location is simply unbeatable: one step away from the beach. The problem is that the swimming pool area is so nice that it becomes difficult to make the decision to leave. And then there's the restaurant, a buffet for every meal with too much to choose from, freshly cooked and something for everybody's taste. Again, so much choice that it's a dilemma every meal to make a choice. The restaurant service works like a swiss clock: beautifully organised and friendly service, all under the watch full eye of a true professional called Francisco, the maître. During busy times he puts in so much work that would even make an octopus jealous: this guy has 8 arms and eyes in the back of his head. I'm impressed with the level of service! Great place, great choice.”

“Durante nuestra estancia en el Hotel Ocean Costa del Sol by Meliá hemos disfrutado de una experiencia fantástica. La comida del buffet es muy variada, apetitosa y sabrosa, con opciones para todos los gustos. Queremos destacar especialmente la atención del personal, en particular a Mónica, siempre pendiente de todo: desde las bebidas hasta retirar los platos o recomendar opciones del buffet. Su amabilidad y cercanía marcan la diferencia. Las habitaciones están muy cuidadas, muy bien equipadas y son realmente confortables. Nos alojamos en una suite de unos 32 m², con una cama amplia, dos televisores y un balcón con vistas laterales al mar y a la montaña. El paisaje es simplemente una maravilla. Por la noche, el lobby bar ofrece un ambiente muy agradable, con espectáculos y una amplia carta de bebidas, cócteles y aperitivos. El servicio en mesa es exquisito. Queremos destacar también la profesionalidad y atención de Bafo, que hizo que cada momento fuera aún más especial. Con personas como Bafo y Mónica, que transmiten tanta cercanía y dedicación, la experiencia se vuelve inolvidable. Sin duda, volveremos.”

“Kamers netjes en schoon. Was er op mijn verjaardag en er stond taart en wijn toen ik terug kwam van het sporten. Een redelijk grote gym waar je wel uit de voeten kan. Eten was ook erg goed en er was keuze genoeg. Dit was de 2de keer dat ik hier was en denk dat ik weer terug kom.”

“Spent a few days with my partner. Communal areas very fresh and modern. Our room, ground floor facing garden, was fine (we got a very good deal), it was pretty basic, clean, huge bed, bit sparce in terms of decor, but functional. Sewage pipes rattled loudly when in use, this applied to our neighbours too. We got water on day one, but it wasn't replenished after that. Ground floor balcony is enclosed but with an opening window. Neighbours smoked so our balcony was a little smoky till we opened the outside window. (Balcony is adjoining to neighbour with a privacy screen). Location is great, pools look great, it wasn't warm enough for us to take a dip. Food and service (breakfast) was great, lots of selection and tasty!”

“Hôtel Ocean House Costa del Sol (Affilié à Meliá), Torremolinos Visité du 15 au 23 février 2026 Par Julie Berube, Montréal Au-dessus de mes attentes ! Les points forts : Quel bonheur de commencer la journée avec le lever du soleil visible partout dans l'hôtel: sans vis-à-vis, l'hôtel profite du soleil toute la journée et offre des levers de soleil spectaculaires depuis le lobby ou la salle à manger. Contrairement aux établissements voisins, la piscine reste ensoleillée du matin au soir, car aucun édifice voisin ne lui fait de l’ombre. Mention spéciale pour la terrasse du restaurant, chauffée et protégée, qui permet de manger "dehors" même quand il fait frais. L'emplacement est idéal, situé entre la marina de Benalmádena et la promenade de la Carihuela (2,1 km), parfait pour les marcheurs comme moi. C'est également une base centrale parfaite pour explorer Malaga, Mijas, Marbella et Grenade (Palais de l’Alhambra). Propreté irréprochable et le personnel est d’une très grande courtoisie. Les points faibles : La température des plats au buffet laisse à désirer (souvent froids). Les chambres disposent de mini-bars plutôt que de mini-frigos, ce qui limite l'espace de rangement.”

“Hemos estado 5 noches en febrero 2026. Destacar el trato del personal, tanto en recepción como el personal del comedor y cocina. La calidad del buffet, diría que mejor que algún 5 estrellas. Bastante variedad y, lo que ofrecían, de calidad. Las habitaciones limpias, amplias y bastante insonorizadas. Éramos dos adultos y dos niños, que dormían en sofá-cama y tiene unas puertas corredizas para independizar su estancia. Las camas muy cómodas. La ubicación, pues primera línea de playa y con restauración y zona comercial cerca. La zona de piscinas parecía recién renovada, con una de las piscinas exteriores con agua climatizada, lo que permitía bañarse (a los no frioleros). En resumen, nos ha encantado.”

“Great location, fantastic team, especially bar staff, Miguel, Pepe, Adrian and Sergio. Great cocktails, and breakfast options were plentiful. The reason for the 4 stars was due to room allocation, we upgraded to a sea view room but it was a partial sea view, we were actually facing the adjacent hotel rather than the sea, so this was disappointing, along with no slippers or robe like all other Melia hotels I have been to. Had we been offered a Premier room we would have upgraded to that as the only reason I booked this hotel was for the heated pool that we couldn't access unless we paid €40 each for a day pass! I would return but in a Premier room.”
