“We had an amazing week @ Paradisus Playa Del Carmen. Our experience was A+ from top to bottom! We loved everything - from the spacious suite, amazing food options (Blue Agave was our favorite - shout out to Eduardo and his amazing service!), the ice cream and coffee hut, beautiful beach, nightly entertainment, tons of pool options including the waterpark - the list goes on. We booked the Family Concierge package, and the staff had setup some fun things in our suite for our 4-year-old every other day (thank you, Ana!). The FC team also took care of all of our dinner reservations which was amazing and they were quick to communicate with us in WhatsApp anytime we had questions. Room service for breakfast is a must try - lots of options available to start your day off right! Our suite was always well kept by the housekeeping staff and the turn down service each night was terrific. If you book here you will not be disappointed, other than when it is time to go home. We can't wait to come back. A big thank you to everyone @ Paradisus Playa Del Carmen for our unforgettable vacation!”

“I was here for a convention but added days to enjoy the entire experience of being back in the Yucatan Peninsula (where I had not been for 23 years). I’ve never tried an all inclusive resort before and was worried that I would not like the food or that I would always have an opportunity to “upgrade”. The worries were not warranted and I had a great time. The selection of liquor and mixed drinks is excellent. I think they fall short on the selection of beers they could offer - and should offer some of the regionally brewed beers. But it was easy to get drinks and they are not skimping on making a quality drink. Food was also good, I especially enjoyed the Sushi, ice cream, Hibachi options. The meals catered for our group were well above average and there is no shortage of food. Plenty of desert option but they could have a bit more flavor to match how good they look. Lots of kids activities that I saw organized even through I was not staying on the Family side of the resort. There seemed to plenty to do and organized for all ages of youth and the quiet options on the Adult side were nice to know they existed. Big rooms, beautiful spaces that are clean and well maintained. The beach is a great place to hang out. People do get in the water and swim - and enjoy it; BUT the ocean grass/sea weed is intense and constantly being pushed towards the shore and raked up by staff. It is in the water and washes over you.”

“We had an excellent stay at Paradisus that exceeded our expectations. We went as 2 adults and 1 toddler and the resort was perfect for us. It wasn’t too large that you felt like it was a chore to get anywhere and everything felt accessible. Our toddler loved all the animals around the resort (fish, turtles, heron in the lobby as well as cats and coatis around the resort). The resort staff were excellent and always friendly. Food was overwhelmingly fantastic as well although some dishes were a miss. We really enjoyed our dinners at Flora, Cielo, and Blue Agave. It is worth noting that we ate at Flora twice, the second time on a Friday coinciding with a wedding and that time the food quality was much worse than the first time we ate there for the same dishes. The original suite we were booked in had a bug issue but they were able to move us the next day. Hopefully they are resolving it. We booked FC and found it was worth the extra perks for us. The beach was nice too but unfortunately we were hit with an early sargassum season. The first couple of days we were there it was unusable but they did an amazing job cleaning it up. The aquazone water park was also very well done with snacks available throughout the day and fun water slides. The entertainment they had going on was also perfect. We found something interesting most days that our girl loved (eg. mini disco, bouncy castles, pirate party, mimes). Overall I would not hesitate to recommend this resort.”

“Absolutely loved our trip here!! The resort is so family friendly! Snacks, milkshakes and smoothies! 24/7 coffee bar! The water park is an absolute blast & so fun that adults can also use the slides! We enjoyed all the food we ate, pool side bar has amazing sweet potato fries & fish tacos. The taco restaurant has amazing tacos! The kids activities that popped up all day was so fun. Face painting, balloon animals, painting, bracelet making, bouncy houses etc. Beach was so beautiful even with the seaweed. We have zero compliments from our recent trip.”

“This is a great family resort for kids aged 0-6 years old. The resort itself is very well maintained, rooms are large and the daily housekeeping was very thorough. There are elevators in all the resort buildings, so families with strollers or accessibility issues don't need to worry. All the staff we encountered were very friendly, always smiling and happy to help. They all dress professionally in nice uniforms. No matter where you choose to lounge, there was always someone coming over and offering to bring you a drink. There are food options available all day long; the only downside to the food and beverage service is the limited availability of dinner reservations - we could only get 5pm reservations our whole week. The Aqua Zone was awesome, they have 2-3 lifeguards working at a time to ensure safety for everyone. This pool was 'cloudy' , I think due to everyone layering on sunscreen then jumping in; otherwise all the other pools were crystal clear. Fresh pool towels were always available. Be wary of the 'Circle Club' representatives approaching you; they sit at the 'guest concierge' desk, but really are trying to sell you on memberships. All dining reservations are actually made at the 'culinary experience' desk. Once we figured out how everything works this wasn't a problem. They have a 24hr coffee/pastry shop, and an ice cream counter open all day. They have kids activities every morning and night, and evening entertainment which was great for the kids. Overall I would definitely recommend this resort to young families.”
