“The hotel is 4 ⭐ advertised, looks like a 3 ⭐.
Lets begin:
Downside - the food is repetitive,as in, chips,pizza,salats, bacon,beans , sausages.
They do have extra,and if you stay a few days you notice,they do change quite a bit, but i believe the real reason of the above mentioned,is due to the fact that this place is 90% British oriented. So many ppl from GB that i believe the hotel kinda took a turn towards pleasing the majority.
But overall is not bad, you can mix and match,and you can not eat the same food twice.Is not wow is decent,i liked it.
The rooms are indeed small,like most reviews you've seen,on here or TripAdvisor. But you're not in holiday to stay in the room,right? Go out and about,lots to see and do.
We had a room with solarium, basically a small garden. Worth it? Yes,give it a try.
The beds are indeed very hard,after a few sleeps,you notice your back hurts.
The swimming pool.... 👎
Is not a heated swimming pool,very cold especially when sun is moving behind hotel,small sizes,even tho are 2 of them, obviously the sunbeds are already taken by the time you wake up,in 7 days we sat at the swimming pool only a few hours, with sea nextdoor,is not worth the swimming pool.
Now, the ppl talk about staff being rude....i dont know what to say, they seemed very nice to me,they are here to work,earn a living,not to make your life miserable, i did had a young girl at bar,i left my cups(plastic ones) over there,when they were closed,and ask for my tokens later on,she diddnt belived me,but she said "next time" is 1€\token, which I understand,but they could be more friendly, manage the cups they found overnight better.
But thats not even a complaint, remember,this is a 4 ⭐, not 5, yes the small details could've made this hotel greater because is part of the Melia group,but is decent, dont come here expecting to be something thats not.
High expectations will ruine your holiday
I like it here,but mostly because it has a great location,that was 99% for me,the hotel could use a bit of attention/investment.
Ps:if you take a taxi to or from this hotel,make sure you know which entrance you are, palmanova 1 oe palmanova 2.”

“El hotel es correcto. Instalaciones limpias y chulas. La pena es que falle la comida. El desayuno es un despropósito ya que los huevos pasados, los revueltos es pura harina, las salchichas un sacrilegio y el bacon es choped seco. Menos mal que hay bollería y fruta. Los ingleses lo tienes que pasar mal al ver ese desayuno.
Por lo demás los empleados muy atentos y el lugar es tranquilo.

The hotel is fine. Clean and nice facilities. It's a shame the food is so disappointing. “I stayed here in May 2026. Before arriving, I had read many different reviews — both good and bad. The hotel staff were all very kind, especially the people working at the buffet. The bartenders were also very sweet, and I understand they can get a bit stressed with so many guests coming for drinks all the time, so they might not always have time to give exceptional service. But no one was ever rude.
We stayed at Palmanova II. The room was small but clean, with good air‑conditioning, and it was perfect for two people.
The location is great, with the beach very close and plenty of shops nearby.
The food was the only thing that felt a bit bland, but definitely not bad. I had read some reviews saying the food was terrible, but that wasn’t my experience at all. It was repetitive and similar every day, but it was edible and absolutely not something that deserves 1 or 2 stars.
I would recommend a stay here definitly!”
