“Wir hatten insgesamt einen schönen Aufenthalt im Meliá Laguna Beach Resort auf Sal. Besonders die Hotelanlage hat uns sehr gefallen. Sie ist weitläufig, gepflegt und mit vielen Palmen wunderschön angelegt. Die verschiedenen Pools laden zum Entspannen ein und die Zimmer sind geräumig, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das Personal war insgesamt sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Weniger zufrieden waren wir allerdings mit dem Service an der Rezeption. Reservierungen für die À la carte Restaurants können ausschließlich zwischen 10:00 und 17:00 Uhr vorgenommen werden, also genau in dem Zeitraum, in dem viele Gäste auf Ausflügen unterwegs sind. Auf unsere Nachfrage hin war das Personal leider auch nicht bereit, unsere Reservierungswünsche aufzunehmen oder eine alternative Lösung anzubieten. Das fanden wir unnötig unflexibel. Das Buffet war insgesamt abwechslungsreich und geschmacklich völlig in Ordnung. Die Getränke waren ebenfalls okay. Man merkt allerdings, dass es sich um ein All Inclusive Angebot handelt. Viele Cocktails schmecken recht ähnlich und wirken etwas verwässert. Für einen entspannten Urlaub ist das aber völlig ausreichend. Etwas störend empfanden wir den Service im Buffetrestaurant. Die Kellner waren zwar sehr aufmerksam und räumten leere Teller sofort ab, allerdings wirkte das mit der Zeit fast schon hektisch. Während einer Mahlzeit wurden wir mehrfach gefragt, ob wir bereits fertig seien. Die gute Absicht dahinter ist zwar erkennbar, dennoch entstand dadurch eher eine unruhige und gestresste Atmosphäre, anstatt das Essen in Ruhe genießen zu können. Leider hat uns auch der Strand enttäuscht. Die Liegen befinden sich so weit vom Wasser entfernt, dass man das Meer von dort teilweise gar nicht sehen kann, da eine Sanderhebung die Sicht versperrt. Wer sich darauf freut, direkt am Strand zu liegen und den Blick aufs Meer zu genießen, sollte das wissen. Auch das Fitnessstudio entsprach leider nicht unseren Erwartungen. Es sieht in der Realität nicht annähernd so aus wie auf den Bildern im Internet. Die Ausstattung ist eher überschaubar und teilweise in die Jahre gekommen. Wer im Urlaub regelmäßig trainieren möchte, sollte sich davon nicht zu viel versprechen. Insgesamt überwiegen für uns dennoch die positiven Eindrücke. Das Resort punktet vor allem mit seiner schönen Anlage, den gepflegten Pools, den gut ausgestatteten Zimmern und dem freundlichen Personal. Gleichzeitig gibt es in einigen Bereichen noch Verbesserungspotenzial. Trotz der genannten Kritikpunkte hatten wir einen schönen Urlaub und würden das Resort grundsätzlich weiterempfehlen.”

“We really enjoyed our week here. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful and if you need anything you only have to ask. The grounds and beach are beautiful and we always found something to eat at the buffet. Only reason I didn’t give the rooms 5 stars is because the beds are hard!!!! We were informed by another couple that we could have requested a mattress topper. I would definitely recommend doing this as by the end of the week we were both suffering. “We had an amazing stay at Melia Llana Resort. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms were always clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. A special thank you to Luis and Jairson from the cocktail bar. They both speak excellent English and always made us feel comfortable and welcome. Their positive energy and professionalism really made our holiday even more enjoyable. Luis makes the best cocktails in the resort – every drink was perfectly made and delicious! We always looked forward to visiting the bar because of the great service and friendly atmosphere they created. Thank you to the entire team for such a wonderful experience.
