At Charco Verde, the black and red sand creates a huge contrast with the deep blue of the sea. The Cueva de los Verdes is also a beautiful blue colour and a wonder of nature allowing us to enter the bowels of a volcanic tube. Another volcanic tunnel that you have to visit is at Jameos del Agua, which even has its own auditorium! If you want to relax on the beach, the best ones are in Punta del Papagayo, and the ones in Famara are great for surfing. Don’t leave without seeing how the artist César Manrique helped make Lanzarote one of the most beautiful places on the planet.
