With the spectacular Marble Mountains overlooking the city below, the peacefulness in this beautiful port city in central Vietnam amazes all visitors.
A bridge between cultures
The beautiful architecture of this old French colonial port is a great way to learn more about the history of Da Nang. The French-Gothic cathedral contrasts with the picturesque Phap Lam Pagoda and a seated Buddha that is over 2 metres tall. Even taller than that is the gigantic statue of Lady Buddha at the Linh Ung Pagoda, the most famous pagoda in the city. The wide variety of different bridges crossing the Han River have also made it known as the city of bridges. One thing you must see is the bridge shaped like a golden dragon when it’s lit up at night. And try sailing in a traditional light and non-polluting wicker boat in the crystal-clear waters alongside the Da Nang beaches.
