To understand the success of Siam Park, the first thing is to know that it is considered a work of art of thematic architecture. Inaugurated with the presence of the princess of Thailand herself, all the buildings, bridges, and decorations faithfully follow the oriental style, surrounded by a green jungle that makes you completely forget that you are in a semi-arid area of the south of Tenerife.
Here is a summary of the strong points that make Siam Park a water park different from any other you have been to:
Attractions for everyone: It has an incredible variety divided by levels. You have total relaxation zones such as the Mai Thai River (a beautiful lazy river), perfect family spaces such as The Lost City and, of course, pure adrenaline slides such as the legendary Tower of Power, an almost vertical 28-metre drop that ends by crossing an aquarium full of sharks.
The largest artificial wave in the world: At Siam Beach you will be amazed by the wave pool. It generates water crests up to 3 metres high, perfect for surfing or simply for having fun jumping on its natural white sand shore brought from South Africa and which stands out because it does not stick to the skin.
How many attractions are there in Siam Park?: The park has about 15 main attractions, but within each of them there are a lot of slides, routes, and hidden corners, so the fun is more than enough to make the most of the day from start to finish.
Siam Park at night: During the summer months (usually July and August), the park opens its doors under the stars in a special format with night lighting and live DJs. It is a completely different experience, with a very youthful atmosphere and without the sweltering heat of the midday sun.
Before putting on your swimsuit and getting your tickets, the first thing is to know where Siam Park is, so you can choose the best transport, avoid problems, and not waste a single unnecessary minute on the road.
The location of Siam Park takes you to the south of Tenerife, very close to the main tourist areas of Costa Adeje and Playa de las Américas.
📍 Av. Siam, s/n, 38660 Costa Adeje, Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
The complex is perfectly integrated into the urban centre of Costa Adeje, right next to the southern motorway (TF-1). It is surrounded by modern shopping centres and magnificent accommodation options; for example, if you stay at the hotel complex Meliá Jardines del Teide, you will be just a few minutes by car or bus from the venue, enjoying a strategic location. In addition, the park is a stone's throw from the most famous beaches in the area, such as Playa de las Américas or Playa de Fañabé.
The connectivity with the main tourist centres of the island is excellent and you have different alternatives to get around:
The park's free bus. Siam Park itself offers a free bus service with continuous stops throughout the morning at strategic points in Los Cristianos, Playa de las Américas, and Costa Adeje. It is the most comfortable and economical option if your accommodation is near the pick-up areas.
By private car. In case you are coming from the north or from the airport, you just have to take the Southern motorway (TF-1) and take exit 73 or 74. From the same road you will see the information panels that guide you to the entrance of the venue.
On foot. If you are lucky enough to stay in the neighbouring hotels in Costa Adeje or the upper area of Las Américas, you can arrive by taking a pleasant walk thanks to the fact that the pavements and pedestrian access are fully prepared.
The park has its own car park next to the main entrance, but it has limited spaces and is paid (the updated price set by the park for its private car park is 7 € per day (subject to unforeseen changes by management)
Although the car park is quite large, in high season it usually fills up quickly, so I recommend that you arrive early.
It is possible that you arrive and the full sign is up. Then, you can look for a spot in the residential streets in the surroundings or in the car park of the shopping centre next to the park, which will force you to walk under the sun loaded with backpacks. If you can, try to arrive even before opening time.

By spending a while looking for reviews about Siam Park on Google or the main travel platforms, you will realise that the vast majority agree that it is an experience that justifies the price of the ticket on its own. Users highlight the incredible cleanliness of all the facilities, the friendliness of the staff, and, above all, that it really makes you feel as if you were in Thailand.
On the other hand, the few drawbacks are usually related to the waiting times at the main attractions or the additional cost of the Fast Pass. Even so, the overall rating is very high, and almost everyone agrees that, if you visit Tenerife, spending a day here is a plan that you will not regret.

The park is open 365 days a year. Its usual opening hours are from 10am to 6pm during the summer season (from May to October) and from 10am to 5pm in winter (from November to April). However, we recommend checking the opening hours and any updated information on their official website. (add link to the park's website).
The current basic rates are approximately 45 € for adults (aged 12 and over) and 32 € for children (aged 3 to 11). When your main goal is to make the most of the day and avoid waiting for the slides, the standard Fast Pass cannot be booked online; it must be purchased on the same day, with a limited daily quota. In case you prefer to secure your place from home, the best option is to purchase the official All Inclusive ticket in advance on their website.
It opens every day, but, if I had to say which is the best day to go to Siam Park, I would tell you to try to avoid weekends and hotel changeover days (which are usually Saturdays). Tuesdays and Thursdays are, possibly, the days with the fewest visitors.
*Both opening hours and prices may vary, so check them on the park's official website before you go.
If you are going to spend the day at what is known as "the water park", here are a series of things to keep in mind that will help you enjoy Siam Park to the fullest and will resolve any doubts you may have:
You can enter with your own food, but by paying a supplement of 3 € at the entrance. There it will be kept in a locker and you can pick it up whenever you want to eat quietly in the enabled picnic area. The only exceptions that enter for free and without problems are water in plastic bottles and baby food. Inside you also have quite a few restaurants and fast food stalls if you prefer not to be loaded.
Going with babies or in the case of people with justified food allergies/intolerances, the park does make exceptions and allows their specific food to be brought in.
The floor of the park is concrete and with the sun it reaches very high temperatures. Wearing water footwear will protect your feet from burns and, in addition, will allow you to go on almost all the attractions with them on.
As soon as you enter, look for the locker area. For a small price you can store your mobile, wallet, or dry clothes to enjoy the slides with total peace of mind and without worrying about where to leave your things.
Perhaps, after leaving the park, you still have energy in your body. The Costa Adeje area offers different options to end the day:
Right next to the park, crossing the street, is Siam Mall. It is an open-air shopping centre, also decorated with Thai statues and motifs, perfect for doing some shopping, having an ice cream, or having dinner in one of its many restaurants.
Just a few minutes' walk away you reach the coast. It is an unbeatable area to take a walk by the sea, watch the sun hide behind the island of La Gomera, and have a drink on any of the lively terraces of Playa de las Américas.
The marina is very close, and from there boats and catamarans leave daily that take you to see pilot whales and dolphins in the wild that live permanently in the channel that separates Tenerife from La Gomera.

If there is one place in the Canary Islands that needs no introduction, it is Siam Park. Considered year after year as one of the best water parks in the world by travellers. It is not simply a place with slides and pools. It is an authentic immersion into a floating Thai kingdom, where adrenaline, nature, and fun come together to give you an unforgettable day.
One of the things to do in Tenerife that is most recommended if you are travelling with young children and/or friends is the Siam Park water park, which is located in the Costa Adeje area, in the south of the island, and which stands out not only for its attractions, but also for its careful setting inspired by Thailand.
Regardless of whether you are looking for strong emotions or if you prefer to lie down under a palm tree, clear your head, and enjoy the sun, the Siam Park park is a tropical paradise designed to the exact measure of what you need.
