“Nuestra experiencia en Gran Meliá Palacio de Isora fue absolutamente increíble y superó todas nuestras expectativas. Desde nuestra llegada, nos sentimos muy bien acogidos, pero queremos destacar especialmente la atención de Carmen, de la recepción de RedLevel, quien hizo que nuestra estancia fuera todavía más especial. Desde el primer momento, Carmen nos trató con una amabilidad, una empatía y una cercanía excepcionales. Siempre estuvo pendiente de nosotros, atenta a cada detalle y dispuesta a ayudarnos en todo lo necesario. Su trato fue impecable, no solo por su gran profesionalidad, sino también por la calidad humana que demostró en todo momento. También queremos extender nuestro más sincero agradecimiento al departamento de Guest Experience, cuya colaboración fue fundamental para organizar un momento tan importante y emocionante para nosotros como fue la pedida de mano. “We recently stayed at this hotel 10 of us and had five rooms. Check-in was amazing. We were taken care of in a private area where all of us were sat down had some food some drinks and it was an excellent experience. Being Gold member’s we did not unfortunately receive any of the benefit’s. for example room upgrade early check-in or late checkout which was a disappointment as we had five rooms and 10 people on all inclusive basis. Services amazing all around we did not feel at one stage that we ignored or not attended to this goes for all of the bar staff in the restaurants the buffets the breakfast simply great service from all the people that work there. Grounds are amazing a great pool great activities definitely a five star spa which was great because we had eight massages between the 10 of us everybody absolutely enjoyed it and the treatment and a spa facilities would definitely grade a five star. Good variety of drinks but the cocktails were not made to high Standard just normal alcoholic choice and mixer - service was always great Good variety breakfast and it was a good options throughout. As others have mentioned getting a booking for al a carte restaurants was very difficult even though they were quite empty and even when we were finished- they were quite empty but apparently they were all booked up. We also emailed months in Advance to try and get the ones that we wanted we did, but it did take some speaking to the concierge team to make it happen. Pool facilities were very good and everybody enjoyed their pool time, especially when they were doing aerobics, paddle boarding and spin classes in the pool. It was very difficult to get a sunbed as all of them were taken. When we discussed this with the team they said that they didn’t realise how many people were going to be in the hotel but this excuse is no good. We got Beds in the end far in some area which had loads of flies and not a great place to be.. also the beds that we had did not have any padding where others did. People would just go there at 7 o’clock in the morning and get 5 to 6 Beds and not even use them all day -annoying that this is not controlled in some sort of way. The Mexican restaurant near the pool stood out with their great service and great food. We personally found all the other restaurant and buffet items very bland. example we dined at in the Asian restaurant but they had no chilies. The Thai green curry was very bland until we had to add some sort of Spice to it (Thai is supposed to be spicy) The Italian restaurant was good Pizza, but apart from that, we couldn’t taste anything else because there is a massive infestation of flies in the whole Property. The flies would be all over the food all out the tables and it was very unhygienic, especially as these flies would also bite unsure why but they did. In Italian restaurant, we tried to have for lunch as well the flies again everywhere and I actually feel that the hotel did not make enough effort to deter them or have more candles or fans or blue light to actually get rid of them and they were all over the Food and we just left in the end back to the Mexican. Rooms are very spacious we were not red level so I cannot comment on that as that’s an adult only and we had children. They are dated so they are not upgraded. They’re okay - nothing wow- they have the normal facilities in them but they’re very dated. For a small example, a five star would have soft closing seats but instead there was a dent in our toilet, marks on the wood throughout the room but they were fit for purpose and large. We had ground floor rooms and we could also hear everything from upstairs. Quite a noisy area in the nights. All in all we had a very good holiday, but we probably would not go back and stay- due to the fly issue which was a major concern throughout the five days we were there, secondly we were not benefited by our Gold membership with Meliá and third of all we found a Food bland overall with bookings hard to make. I would say that this is a very decent 4 star with amazing grounds.”

“Nuestra estancia en Meliá Jardines del Teide ha sido verdaderamente maravillosa. El hotel se encuentra en una ubicación privilegiada, está renovado, cuenta con buenas instalaciones y, sobre todo, ofrece algo que para nosotros resulta especialmente valioso: una atmósfera de tranquilidad, descanso y buen ambiente. Desde que llegas, parece que entras en una pequeña burbuja de paz que permite desconectar y disfrutar plenamente de las vacaciones. Sin embargo, por encima de las instalaciones o de cualquier otro aspecto material, tanto mi mujer como yo queremos destacar el extraordinario trato humano que hemos recibido. Mi mujer está embarazada y, durante toda nuestra estancia, nos hemos sentido acogidos, cuidados y arropados con una cercanía y una delicadeza que no olvidaremos. En una época en la que muchas veces todo parece impersonal, encontrar personas que recuerdan tu nombre, se interesan sinceramente por ti y consiguen hacerte sentir especial tiene un valor enorme. Queremos agradecer especialmente al equipo de restauración, con el que coincidíamos cada día. Ethan fue atento, amable y maravilloso, siempre pendiente de nosotros y teniendo algún detalle. Morena nos recibía cada día con una sonrisa, cercanía extraordinaria, cómplice, recordándonos, animándonos y compartiendo con nosotros pequeñas conversaciones que hacían que nos sintiéramos como en casa. Ariel fue también un gran profesional y era un placer coincidir con él cada día. Nuestro agradecimiento se extiende igualmente a Camila, Isel, Hawa, y Marcial. Este último a quien deseamos todo lo mejor ante la llegada de su bebé. También queremos reconocer al personal de Circle, especialmente a Miguel, que se convirtió en un anfitrión para nosotros y nos atendió siempre con cariño, disponibilidad y verdadera pasión por su trabajo. Igualmente, agradecemos enormemente el trato de su compañera Sheyla. En la zona de piscina, Beatriz y Jesús fueron fantásticos: profesionales, cercanos y capaces de convertir un rato de descanso en un momento todavía más agradable gracias a sus conversaciones y a su simpatía. Y no podemos olvidarnos del equipo de animación, un grupo joven, dinámico, abierto y lleno de ganas de trabajar, aprender y prosperar. Nos encantó compartir conversaciones con ellos y conocer sus inquietudes. Queremos hacer una mención especial a Ropi, Yaiza y Kevin, que nos hicieron sentir muy cómodos y acompañados durante nuestra estancia. Gracias a todo el equipo de Meliá Jardines del Teide por unas vacaciones tan bonitas. Las instalaciones pueden hacer que un hotel sea bueno, pero son las personas las que consiguen que una estancia sea inolvidable. Y en este hotel hay personas realmente excepcionales. Mar y Marcos”
