“Stunning hotel set in the tropical forest and among colonial french ruins in Ba Vi national park. YHI spa is wonderful and Hue gave me an amazing massage and facial, I left feeling really relaxed. The pool is stunning and free tour of the ruins is worth doing. All the staff were really friendly and helpful, especially linh at the lobby. Senses restaurant does fabulous food, lots of variety but their vietnames cuisine is the best. We chose to stay here instead of doing a Ha Long Bay cruise and had no regrets.”

“We visited as part of a South to North Vietnam trip and it was perfect for what we needed. After a few days in busy HCM, and Hoi An, it was ideal to have a 2 night stay in a remote mountain retreat. Transport is limited to local cabs in the area and otherwise footpaths are tricky to find, though for the hotel, facilities and food/drink were all great and a nice reset from the hustle and bustle of busy cities. Would definitly recommend for a 1 or 2 night stay, though more than that and it may get too isolating.”

“Melia Ba Vi ist im Nationalpark gelegen und liegt folglich ruhig und idyllisch im Wald gelegen. Man kann hier im Fitnessraum Sport machen, um die historischen französischen Ruinen wandern oder einfach nur im Pool entspannen. Einziger Nachteil ist, dass viele Mitarbeiter wenig bis kein Englisch sprechen und somit der Service darunter leidet, auch wenn sie bemüht sind. Das Essen ist preislich für vietnamesische Verhältnisse gehoben, aber äußerst schmackhaft und sehr schön angerichtet.”

“We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Melia Ba Vi Mountain Retreats in a Family Suite. The room was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our family. The staff were all very nice and lovely, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our kids especially enjoyed the swimming pool and the fun experience of feeding the animals, which made the trip even more memorable. A special thank you to Quyen for the excellent room service and for taking such great care of our room during our stay. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable getaway, and we would definitely love to come back again”

“Yesterday I had two excellent spa treatments - the YHI viral massage and the hair, scalp, and blowdry treatment. Both were done by Lan Hoang, who did an amazing job. She has the firm hand necessary for a good massage, and is a fast and precise expert at haircare. My hair is 3 feet long, and usually takes 1 hour to blow dry. She washed, rinsed, AND dried my hair in under an hour! I was so satisfied, and happy to report that I'm having two more spa treatments today, which I will review later.”

“広大な緑、ジャングルのような国立公園の中に環境に配慮した形で建つリゾート Melia。 600mぐらい高さがあり湿気が多く、苔も木と共に共存。1850年から1880年代にフランス人が避暑地としておとづれていた場所でその遺跡が敷地内に残されている。小さなアニマルZooもあり高原の 敷地内のインフィニティpoolの景観も素晴らしい。きちんとヘリポートも用意されているが、華美すぎず落ち着いていてリラックス出来る。 ただ、朝食の際こちらが望んでいるわけではなく、6名掛けの大きなテーブルに通したにもかかわらず食事の途中でテーブルを動かそうとしたため、断ったにもかかわらず、すごく混んでないのに何度も動かそうと試みは非常に不快であった。サービス的にいわゆる高いレベルではない。その点は大変残念であった。それ以外の環境は評価に値する。”
