Art and devotion

Tradition, religion and Easter Week are essential to the essence of Seville. The Sevillian capital is home to more than a hundred churches filled with true works of art: altarpieces, sculptures, paintings and religious statues that are paraded in processions during its big week, adorned with floral decorations and gold in their clothing.

Both these gold embroideries and the goldsmiths' pieces are made by local master craftsmen. Holy Legacy offers an insight into these traditional sacramental professions in Seville, visiting the workshop of the master goldsmith Delgado López or meeting the famous embroiderer Francisco Carrera Iglesias, nicknamed "Paquili" in the city, to learn all the details of the master and his works. Finally, we will visit the Iglesia del Salvador to admire the work of both craftsmen on the sacred sculptures.

What is included?: Guided visit to the Delgado López and Paquili workshops and El Salvador followed by an Omakase menu at the Cañabota restaurant.
