“Our group had 12 people total made up of three families with quite a few small children; we stayed at the resort for a week less than a month after it reopened in 2026. From the moment we arrived, Omar at reception made it very clear that they intended for us to have a wonderful vacation and if there were any issues at all, we should message them right away so they could fix it. This was extremely helpful because the resort app isn’t the best, so being able to communicate through WhatsApp made everything much easier. Whenever we had questions or something wasn’t quite right, staff handled it immediately. The Mayan events were absolutely incredible; we attended a sunset energy ritual, cacao ceremony and the pre-Hispanic show. The individuals were so kind and took the time to explain the meaning behind all of the steps. The staff throughout the entire resort were absolutely incredible. Someone was always offering to help when they walked by. The rooms were beautiful, with no musty smells or excess moisture. We didn’t need Damp Rid like we’ve had to use at other resorts. Every bathroom throughout the resort was SPOTLESS and smelled so clean. There was constantly someone cleaning and maintaining the bathrooms. The customer service at this hotel was unlike anything we’ve ever experienced. These staff members truly made a huge impact on our vacation: Jesus, Giovanni, and Marurico from the entertainment team were awesome. Jesus was especially incredible with our kids. He had so much patience while teaching us how to make dream catchers. After we mentioned we had missed a craft we were really looking forward to because the app listed the wrong time, he actually went out of his way to make sure we still got to do it. He also made sure we knew about all the fun activities so we wouldn’t miss anything. We were so glad we met him. Guadeloupe, who worked by the kids’ pool, took care of us every day, remembered our favourite drinks, and genuinely made us feel looked after. Our kids adored her and were so sad to say goodbye. Antonio at the bar near the snack bar was always making us laugh and checking to make sure we were enjoying our drinks. Anahi, Rosalinda, Perla, and Norma at the ice cream/coffee bar were wonderful. They were amazing about checking ingredients so we knew which treats were safe for us to have. A huge thank you to Diego and Adrianna for making sure our large group had restaurant reservations every night. Jenny, our concierge, was always quick to answer questions and was especially helpful arranging late checkout. Omar at reception answered every question we had during check-in and throughout the week whenever we saw him. Armando at the Mexican restaurant was our favourite server of the entire trip. He was hilarious, made excellent food recommendations, and constantly checked to make sure we were enjoying our meals. Nathaniel, the manager at the Mexican restaurant, bent over backwards to make sure our kids had meals they enjoyed and that they weren’t waiting too long for food. Alonso, Alberto, and Antonio at the snack bar always checked ingredients for us and made our nachos exactly the way we liked them. Rudolpho, Geraldo, Armando, and Candelario at the buffet always made sure we had a large enough table for our whole group. They also remembered that some of us couldn’t have dairy and consistently made sure almond milk was available for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. This resort genuinely exceeded our expectations in every way. The cleanliness, customer service, attention to detail, and kindness from the staff made this one of the best vacations we’ve ever had”
