A soli 20 minuti in auto dall'aeroporto internazionale di Phuket, il nostro resort si trova nella zona idilliaca di Mai Khao, uno dei pochi luoghi dell'isola dove nidificano ancora le tartarughe.

“Thoroughly enjoyed my one night stay in a gorgeous one bedroom suite with outdoor bathtub. The resort is a bit of a maze at night but I'm sure that if I had stayed a second evening I'd get the hang of it quickly. All of the team were super kind and welcoming. The location right on the beach front is divine and I enjoyed the three meals (breakfast - good spread, lunch - good options, dinner - tasty veggie burger and sorbet) I had at the resort. Very handy to the airport as well which worked well for my late night flight. Perfect hotel if you're looking to just relax and enjoy the serenity. This is my second stay at a Melia hotel (first was Koh Samui) and I'm loving the brand so much I just booked a third! There are two pools on site which provides great options / alternatives if one is a bit popular in that moment. The breeze off the ocean makes the beach chairs a perfect spot to relax on a hot day. The room itself was spotless and incredibly spacious. Having the inside / outside shower was a special treat. I didn't get to try the outdoor tub but it looked incredibly inviting. The communication with the front desk time was easy and efficient.”

“Wir haben das Hotel Melia Phuket Mai Khao in erster Line wegen der Lage gebucht. Es liegt am langen und breiten Strand von Mai Khao, ungefähr 25 Minuten mit dem Taxi vom Flughafen entfernt. Das Resort hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Unser Zimmer war sehr luxuriös und perfekt. Die nach aussen offene Dusche hat uns sehr gefallen. Auf der Terrasse mit der Badewanne fehlt ein Sonnenschutz. Die in Richtung Strand gelegene Pool-Anlage ist cool. Nicht so cool ist der schlauchartige Grundriss. Der Strand scheint irgendwie zu weit weg zu sein. In der Nähe hat es Restaurants in Strandnähe.”

“We stayed here for three nights at the beginning of our holiday in Thailand. It’s a truly beautiful hotel. The room was lovely, with an outdoor shower and a small pool that was perfect for us and our son. There was no crowding by the pools or in the restaurants. Calm, beautiful, and atmospheric. We highly recommend it and would love to come back.”

“Caution: Pool in the Pool Villa is only 90 cm deep Our stay at Meliá Phuket was overall pleasant, but with some clear drawbacks. Positive: The resort is very well maintained, and the beach is beautiful and pleasantly quiet. The service was generally friendly and helpful – from reception to room dining service, although it could be a bit faster. The villa itself is modern, stylishly designed, and the bed is very comfortable. Negative: The biggest disappointment was the pool in the pool villa: with a depth of only 90 cm, it does not meet expectations for a high-quality pool villa. The breakfast is okay, but nothing special – guests who value high quality might be disappointed. A major issue was the large number of mosquitoes throughout the resort. Even though sprays and coils were provided, we still got many bites. In addition to mosquitoes, we also encountered cockroaches. Therefore, make sure to always keep all doors properly closed – this way we avoided having them in the bedroom, but they were present outside and in the bathroom. The door between the bathroom and the outside was not sealed properly, allowing many mosquitoes to enter. Also, the prices for pool pavilions (2000 Baht plus 3000 Baht minimum consumption) are extremely high for Thai standards. Conclusion: A beautiful resort with great service and a quiet location, but with clear weaknesses regarding the pool, mosquito issue, and overall value for money.”
