“Had a very nice stay here last week. The staff are excellent. There was a small issue with the room which Stefan sorted and went above and beyond. Very relaxed week for a couple. Close enough to walk to the restaurants and the beach.”

“Boutique cozy hotel around 10 min away from the beach and around 15 min from the Port where beautiful restaurants are located. The bed was comfy and a room had nice terrace. Can’t call it a 5 stars but is a good option. Breakfast was accompanied by the live music which I found cute as well.. parking is free if you park on the street (just avoid yellow lines) and bday celebration packages are offered by the reception as well at a special price. I have payed 30€ for bday cake slice and bottle of cava with a room decoration for my mom.”

“What an amazing stay here!! Can't recommend this hotel enough. The service of the team is definitely 5 star!! Can't thank them enough for all they did! To many to shout out. Breakfasts are top notch! Going to miss my fresh omelettes everyday. Rooms are really comfy and the Aircon is spot on. The pool is lovely and there are always beds available. Even though the hotel was full it felt out of session, so peaceful and relaxing. Best hotel I've stayed at. It's the 2nd time staying at a Melia hotel as we recently stayed at one in London and have to say there service is second to none. My hotel brand of choice now! Thank you for an amazing stay and the first time after leaving a hotel and area (cala dor is amazing) I will say 100% we will be back!”

“Still on my holiday but compelled to leave a review. This hotel is a gem. The location is spot on with everything just a short walk away. This hotel is perfect for a relaxing getaway and children are welcome. It’s the perfect size hotel with spacious comfortable rooms. The breakfast is perfect and the staff and hotel facilities are spot on. The staff cannot do enough for you and I have never seen one that does not smile and ask if there is anything we need. The rooms are very clean and have everything you need. The beaches are a very short walk away. There is not one day so far that we haven’t had a sun-bed around the pool and as I speak there is around 10 empty beds. The hotel does not feel crowded and you can just chill with no worries about not getting a sun-bed. No one puts towels on beds as there is no need. You will not regret staying here and I can’t think of any reason to leave anything other than a 5 start review. Well done Melia we will be back!!”

“Very nice and modern boutique hotel. Staff super friendly and helpful. They can cater for every wish you have. There is a good sized pool with kids part and with jacuzzi too. They have a separate indoor jacuzzi, steam and sauna, also a gym. Closed Parking provided for a fee or you can park on the street close to the hotel too.”

“We loved our stay at the Melia Cala D'Or. Close to a wide range of restaurants but located in a quiet street. Beautifully decorated with attentive and professional staff. Plenty of sun loungers around the pool and also on the lawns so plenty of choice of shaded and full-sun lounging. Easy street parking if travelling with a car. This hotel definitely meets the 'boutique' description: caters more for adults (although not specifically adults-only).”

“The Melia is the perfect place to escape and unwind. It is a small boutique hotel set apart in the most beautiful, well maintained gardens, yet it's only a 2 minute walk to Cala Gran and 10 minutes to the marina and Cala D'Or centre. We stayed in a Classic room, number 316, which was immaculately clean and fully equipped with a large balcony. Our balcony was shaded so did not get direct sunlight which was perfect for us. There is a Spar and a large local supermarket close by. A special mention has to go to the Reception staff, in particular Stefan, Stefanie and Noelia who organised several trips for us throughout our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. I happened to mention it was my friend's birthday and when we returned to the hotel later that day after an excursion there was a bottle of bubbly and scrummy chocolate cake awaiting for us along with a lovely card. A big shout has to go to Sergio in the pool bar for entertaining us! The whole Melia experience was wonderful; I would definitely go back another time and would also be comfortable to go on my own such was the welcoming atmosphere.”

“Das Hotel würden wir ohne Zweifel nochmal buchen. Die außerordentliche Freundlichkeit und Service von jedem Mitarbeiter sticht am meisten heraus. Konzeptionierung und die Hotelanlage sind seht gut. Das Qualitätsmanagement auf sehr hohen Niveau. Die Küche ist sensationell gut. Details in den modernen Zimmern wie eine eigene Nespresso Kaffeemaschine überzeugen. Ein großes Kompliment! Beim nächsten Besuch in Cala d'Or buchen wir erneut das Hotel Melia!”

“We stayed at the Melia, half board for a week earlier this month, (May). This tranquil hotel is spotless, set in attractive, mature and well maintained grounds, only a few minutes walk from the centre of Cala d'Or. All staff members are extremely polite and helpful. Breakfasts are excellent, with all nationalities catered for. The delicious evening meals are well presented and beautifully cooked. We can fully recommend this hotel and are already planning our return.”

“The quality of rooms, comfort of beds, cleanliness, friendliness and helpfulness of staff are superb. The hotel is set well away but has good access to the beach! Loved to stay there and would definitely recommend. Outstanding service, excellent food & beverages. Paradise for kids !”

“Our first time in Cala D’Or and if wasn’t for this charming hotel and it’s wonderful staff, I think we would have had a very disappointing vacation. Our stay was during the final days of the season in Cala D’Or and I suspect we benefited from the hotel and resort being quieter than usual. We find the term ‘boutique’ often misused when applied to a hotel, but not in this case. It’s small compared to surrounding hotels and feels in a different league altogether. The staff were fantastic; friendly, extremely accommodating, attentive and courteous. Special mention to Jonatan and Stephanie on reception and the waiting staff. All excellent! Our junior suite was well appointed and maintained, furnished in a classic style. We’ve stayed in 4 star hotels with more plush/stylish rooms but there was little here to complain about. Someplace to hang jackets and store shoes at the entrance to the suite would have been nice. The balcony furniture could be better, however the balcony itself was lovely with a view over beautiful gardens and the outdoor pool. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, the air conditioning whisper quiet and effective. We stayed B&B and the choice at the breakfast buffet was vast and of a very high quality. And it was a real treat to have breakfast accompanied by live piano music. Lunches at the pool bar again superb, and great value. We only ate in the restaurant one evening as the choice was fairly limited, but the meal was very pleasant. Afternoon tea, coffee and pastries served in the lounge offered a chance to meet with some of the other guests. The hotel is very close to the centre of town and a choice of beaches. Unfortunately (for us anyway) some of the nearby hotels and bars offer loud outdoor entertainment (tribute bands, karaoke and kids clubs) most evenings which is impossible to avoid anywhere in Cala D’Or. A bit annoying if you’re trying to read on your balcony but they do stop by 11 pm. And our rooms were well soundproofed once the balcony doors and windows were closed. We would happily stay in this hotel again but unfortunately we won’t be back to Cala D’Or. A big thanks to the hotel staff again, they made our stay here a very pleasant one.”

Los precios son altos, pero estamos hablando de un 5 estrellas así que no podía ser de otra forma. Tiene piscina con jacuzzi integrado y la cocina es buena. Tiene todos los servicios necesarios cercanos para moverte por esta zona de la isla.”
