Exceptional stay at The Level (Room 2121). The hotel facilities are top-notch, the service is impeccable, and the dining options exceeded our expectations in every way. We encountered a minor issue with a tour itinerary, but it was resolved with impressive speed and professionalism by the management team. Special thanks to Mr. Reyes, Ramon, and Liliana for their outstanding care and ensuring our satisfaction. Their dedication is world-class. Highly recommended!

(Translated by Google) Very satisfied in terms of quality and price. The hotel has everything you need, and the staff is very attentive and friendly. The sea was quite cold for these days in March. We encountered some sargassum. Making reservations at the à la carte restaurants wasn't as complicated as I read in previous reviews. The breakfast and lunch buffets were good, although not very varied, but adequate. My daughter really enjoyed the children's water park, especially the slides. That's a big plus for kids in general. It's fun for adults too! In short, although it's not a luxury hotel, it's a place that makes you feel good and enjoy your vacation. I would definitely return to this hotel, considering it's not expensive. I've attached my daughter's farewell letter that she left in the room before we left, with a special mention of Gaspar, who took great care of us at the Casa Nostra restaurant.

Review: Exceptional Service and Beautiful Views at Melia Casa Maya Arrival & Accommodations While our initial room wasn't available upon arrival, Yulisa at the front desk was absolutely amazing. She turned a potential frustration into a highlight by upgrading us to a suite. The room was massive, featuring a separate bedroom with a king bed and a living area with a queen pull-out. In the past, we’ve had poor experiences with kids' sofa beds, but Yulisa assured us her team would add a thick foam topper for extra comfort. They delivered exactly as promised; the setup was excellent, and the kids slept soundly every night. The room also included a nice sitting area with a high table and a balcony with patio chairs. The bathroom was great, with consistent water pressure and temperature control. A huge plus was the mini-fridge, which was restocked daily with four beers, regular and carbonated waters, and several soft drinks. The Pool Area & Water Park The pool is well-maintained and surrounded by two rows of loungers. As is common at many resorts, most loungers are "claimed" with personal items by 8:30 or 9:00 AM. However, when we headed out around 7:30 AM on Saturday, there was plenty of availability. The resort also features a nice, modest-sized water park for the kids. Ours absolutely loved it and ended up using it three out of the four days we were there. It was a great addition to the pool facilities. Dining & Service Breakfast & Lunch: The breakfast buffet offers a fantastic variety, including a fresh omelet station. Pro tip: Always enter the buffet through the lobby/front entrance rather than the pool side. We found that when we sat ourselves via the pool entrance, we were often missed by the staff. By going through the front, the hostess seated us in a staffed section where the service was impeccable. Karina and Ivan were particularly awesome, checking in frequently to ensure we had everything we needed. The lunch buffet offered a great selection, including a taco station where the staff warmed tortillas on the griddle for you. Just be careful with the hot salsas—some of them are "fire"! The snack bar was also great for quick bites like burgers, nuggets, and mozzarella sticks. The only minor critique is that the self-serve juice and water jugs in the buffet area stayed empty longer than expected before being refilled. Dinner: While the dinner buffet (featuring sushi and oysters) was good, the specialized restaurants were the highlight. At The Grill, we all ordered the filet. While the cooking temperatures were a bit inconsistent (my medium was closer to rare), our waiter Andreas was the absolute best. He didn't hesitate to have my steak cooked further and made the experience wonderful. Andreas mentioned he usually works at the Italian restaurant, Casa Nostra, so we visited him there the next night. It was phenomenal! He made the perfect Negroni, and the food was a "symphony in your mouth." The Caprese salad featured a full, delicious burrata, and the fried calamari was spot on. We loved the food (Lasagna, Osso Buco, and Chicken Parm) and Andreas’s service so much that we returned a second night. The Beach The beach at this resort is stunning. The sand is incredibly white and fine—so bright that sunglasses are a must! The beach is also impressively deep, extending about 70 meters from the pool to the water. We preferred the left side of the beach, which was quieter and more relaxed. While that side didn't have umbrellas during most of our stay, we were told 40 new ones were being put out this past weekend. The best part of the beach was Jose. He was incredible, always appearing with a smile to ensure we were hydrated. He even brought guacamole and chips from the pool restaurant directly to our loungers. Thank you, Jose! Overall All in all, we had a fantastic time at Melia Casa Maya. The combination of the beautiful beach and the exceptional service from staff like Yulisa, Andreas, Jose, Karina, and Ivan made it a memorable vacation. We highly recommend it!
