We were a group of eight, visiting for an aperitif and dinner. The venue itself is stunning, with a fantastic view and tastefully decorated interior. The cocktails were absolutely delicious, and the main courses had great potential. Unfortunately, they were served lukewarm, which was quite disappointing. Additionally, the volume of the music was excessively loud, making it difficult to converse, and despite requesting a reduction in volume, our request was ignored. The payment process was also somewhat problematic. Our server attempted to charge us for drinks that had already been paid for. In general, the service was underwhelming, particularly from our waitress, "Dash," who was not very attentive or accommodating. This is surprising for a 5-star establishment, where one would expect a higher level of service. Overall, while the setting and food had promise, the issues with service and the temperature of the food detracted from what could have been an exceptional experience.

L'hôtel est top et moderne, chambre spacieuse et lits confortable. Staff sympa et prix aux restaurants très correct. Très belle piscine et service super. Quelques bémols, pas de minibar en chambre et service en chambre à améliorer pour cette catégorie d'hôtel. Redlevel à conseiller sans souci.

Loved the hotel. There are so many places to just sit and relax. Great options for food as well. Breathtaking views from the rooftop restaurant. The gardens are lush and expansive. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming. You would really be missing out if you came to Arusha and not visit. Really breath taking. Highly recommend

What an absolutely beautiful hotel! The view is impeccable! The food exquisite. Words can’t describe my experience at The Rooftop. The service was fast, food was delicious, the cocktails I had (the Moscow mule, tequila sunrise and pink colada) was really good and so was the wine. Definitely coming back here when in Arusha. Returned just recently to Gran Melia and found out that accessing the rooftop requires a minimum spend of Tsh. 45,000 per person. Other than that, the service remains impeccable and it’s also never crowded.
