Although the Hotel is a 5 start Hotel, it seemed like an abandoned and quiet building inside. The rooms, parking and service are all pretty good. The biggest disappointments were the breakfast food which was just "dead", the fact that the music from close-by cafes/bars just overruns any other sound and, finally, that certain rooms (mainly on the 1st floor) are almost at the same level as the outside pool. So everyone sees you and you see everyone. Not much privacy.

Exceptional Stay at Melia Madeira Mare I had the pleasure of staying at Melia Madeira Mare and I must say, it exceeded all of my expectations. The hospitality and professionalism of the staff truly stood out – they were always ready to assist with a smile, never hesitating to go the extra mile to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay. The location of the hotel is also highly favorable, nestled in the urban area and conveniently close to the center of Funchal, making it easy to explore the beautiful city. Melia Madeira Mare offers all the amenities you’d expect from a 5-star resort, including an excellent spa, both indoor and outdoor pools, as well as a variety of bars and a top-notch restaurant. The rooms are spacious, well-furnished, and incredibly clean, as are the bathrooms which come fully equipped with everything you need, just as described on the hotel’s website. The entire resort is impeccably maintained, and it’s evident that cleanliness and care are a priority. From the moment I arrived, I felt like a welcomed guest, greeted with warmth and joy. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing experience in Madeira. I will certainly be returning in the future!

Byłam mile zaskoczona ogromnym pokojem, bardzo dużą łazienką z prysznicem, wanną. Bardzo miła obsługa, posiłki jak dla mnie też w porządku.

Great hotel. Fantastic staff. The location for us was perfect, so close to the sea and a short taxi or bus ride into Funchal. The views from the room and pool were amazing.

Vor allem Nachts rund um das Hotel sehr sehr laut. Hotel kein 5 Sterne Niveau, würde sagen mit 3 Sternen wäre es in der richtigen Kategorie. Daher stimmt leider das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis auf keinen Fall. Die Fotos sind alle aus dem Hotel und ich würde sagen sie sprechen für sich und wenn man sich die Rezessionen und Antworten anschaut, dann weiss man dort, dass ganz ganz dringend etwas gemacht gehört. Aber wozu, die Gäste bringen ihr Geld ja auch so.
