“Before I go into details: overall, we enjoyed our stay and we would come back. However there were a few irritations during our stay which are not a standard for this category of hotels. 1. Recepetion: we had a few topics to clearify at check-in and staff was compliant but the whole process was extremely slow. Endless doublechecks on computer and backoffice and a lot of bureacracy. Worst part was when a staff member answered the phone during our procedure to talk patiently about random thimgs while two other people were sitting in the backoffice not helping out. After hanging up his call, the receptionist forgot which language we were talking to him. 2. Restaurant: while everything at the hotel looks very neat, designed and well mainatined, the buffet restaurant itself is not a pleasent place. From dying indoor plants to questionable art (somewhat disgusted faces photographies), it looked sad and careless. Same as the food which was far behind other creative buffet presentations. Very few veggie options, huge chunks of fruits and vegetables (eg tomatoes coming in quarters). Lots of repeating dinners. My take: the outside area including the pool is beautiful and spotless, very detailled. Rooms are exactly how they need to be and cleaning staff was amazing. All of this made our stay very enjoyable and are somehow in big contrast to our hospitality and dinner experience.”See more reviews
