“We often stay in Melia hotels in Level rooms as it works well using the lounge with our young children in the evening so we booked here for family trip to Madrid. The hotel is very nice and in a good neighbourhood with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. It's less than 30 minutes walk to El Retiro Park and we didn't need to use public transport at all during our trip and were able to walk everywhere. We booked a Level connecting room which was great, really spacious and appeared to have been recently renovated. All was good apart from the Level lounge which we were really disappointed with. The lounge itself is tiny and appears to have been an afterthought- The seats are really uncomfortable and crammed in making it difficult to get out of your seat. The drinks and food selection was really poor compared to other Melia hotels we've stayed in and the "tapas" hour consisted of a few sandwiches and not much else. Apparently they don't offer cocktail hour like every other Level lounge we've stayed in and breakfast was served in a small canteen like area off the lounge. We opted to skip the level for breakfast and eat in the main restaurant which was really good. An amazing selection and a really calm and chilled out vibe with fresh omelettes made to order. We would stay here again but skip the Level- there are better Melia hotels in Madrid for this.”

“Llegamos a las 13:30 h y no nos daban habitación hasta las 15:00 h .Tuvimos que pagar diferencia de 20€ para entrar en una habitación de categoría superior en la cuarta planta ,y poder cambiarnos para asistir a una comida de trabajo .A pesar de esto la habitación no era de hotel de esta categoría. Decepcionante. Olía mal, la ventana no se abría lo suficiente para ventilar. Cristales muy sucios.La decoración es propia de un hotel barato o residencia ,a base de tableros de melamina imitando a madera. Y muebles del mismo material. El armario es un hueco .Baño muy pequeño . Habíamos pedido una habitación de dos camas y no estaba tampoco preparada. Hay mucho ruido de la calle porque la habitación no está bien insonorizada. Soy cliente de Meliá pero eso no sirve de mucho. El recepcionista no fue amable. Por 250€ o un poco más hay hoteles mejores en Madrid. Sin embargo la planta de recepción , salón , bar , desayunos….. está muy bien , es bonita y bien decorada. El parking público está junto al hotel. El hotel no informó de que éramos huéspedes para que el parking nos aplicara un descuento. El desayuno es muy completo. Lo mejor del hotel !!!
