Especially Santiago, Antonio, and Jean Paul were so attentive, helpful, and always knew our names which was so personable. Also the cleaning staff was so friendly and left our rooms so clean and put together. It was such a lovely honeymoon to stay here and can’t wait to come back to Madrid just to stay here again! “Service was top-notch. Ana took great care of us from check-in through checkout, even coordinating housekeeping along the way, and giving us tips to experience the Semana Santa/Holy Week activities. Everyone we encountered was lovely. The location strikes a perfect balance, close enough to walk to the main sights, yet tucked away enough to avoid the crowds. We visited during Semana Santa (Holy Week), when the city was packed and intense, but the hotel remained a calm retreat after we attended the processions and saetas. We just checked out today. “El Hotel Fénix Gran Meliá es, sin dudas, un gran hotel. El nivel de servicio es impecable, especialmente en la recepción y en la entrada, donde el trato es cálido y profesional. Quiero destacar particularmente la atención de Israel, Carlos y Jerald, que hacen una verdadera diferencia en la experiencia. Las habitaciones son amplias y cómodas. Durante nuestra estadía estuvimos en dos: una con vistas a calle Hermosillo, un poco oscura pero muy espaciosa, y otra con unas vistas realmente muy lindas a la Plaza de Colón, que suman muchísimo. El desayuno es muy completo y de excelente calidad, y los espacios del bar son muy agradables, ideales para relajarse y disfrutar un buen momento dentro del hotel. Como única crítica, intenté pedir room service durante la madrugada y, sorprendentemente, de gran parte de la carta no había disponibilidad. Resulta un poco difícil entender por qué se ofrece un servicio con opciones que luego no están disponibles. Más allá de eso, fue una muy buena estadía y es un hotel que vale la pena.”See more reviews
