“So nearly good. The hotel is beautifully set in a wonderful building full of character, it’s just such a pity they couldn’t have made it a truly great hotel. The rooms, despite the building’s charm, lack character entirely and feel devoid of charm. The breakfast was very average, the buffet was comprehensive but lacked the quality touch you’d expect at this price point and the menu items were very poor indeed, pancakes were obviously reheated / pre-made which is frankly unacceptable. A few tweaks and this could be a genuinely great place to stay in Madrid, but until those are made, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.”See more reviews
