“Hemos pasado una estancia maravillosa en Meliá La Palma y nos vamos con una sensación muy bonita de agradecimiento. Lo primero que destacaríamos es la tranquilidad del hotel. Nos ha sorprendido muchísimo lo calmado que es todo: nada de ruido, un ambiente muy relajado y una sensación de paz constante. Para desconectar, descansar y disfrutar de la isla, nos ha parecido un lugar ideal. Nos alojamos en una habitación The Level, que estuvo muy bien: cómoda, limpia y cuidada. El servicio de limpieza ha sido excelente durante toda la estancia. Además, somos clientes Platinum y hemos recibido atenciones diarias en la habitación, todas con mucho gusto. Al saber que estábamos de luna de miel, tuvieron también un detalle precioso el último día: un regalo pintado por un artista canario. Nos pareció un gesto muy especial y muy cuidado. La comida, en general, nos ha parecido muy buena, como suele ocurrir en los hoteles Meliá. Hemos estado en régimen de todo incluido y con The Level, y tanto el desayuno en la zona exclusiva como las cenas han estado muy bien. El desayuno de The Level en el restaurante Cape Nao ha sido muy completo, tranquilo y con una atención estupenda. Las cenas nos han gustado mucho: cada día había una propuesta temática, además de otras opciones variadas, con muchísima variedad, buena temperatura en la comida y una calidad muy buena. También cenamos una noche en el restaurante mexicano La Hacienda y la experiencia fue muy positiva: todo estaba muy rico y la atención fue espectacular. Por poner un pequeño punto de mejora, quizá el servicio de almuerzo nos pareció algo más limitado en comparación con el resto de la oferta gastronómica del hotel. También es verdad que en los turnos en los que íbamos nosotros, a una hora que normalmente suele ser bastante concurrida, apenas habría unas 10 personas en el salón, así que entendemos que la ocupación y el momento de la temporada pueden influir. Aun así, creemos que sería un punto a cuidar un poco más en cuanto a variedad, temperatura y presentación, para que esté al mismo nivel que los desayunos y las cenas, que nos parecieron mucho más completos. La zona de piscina también nos ha gustado mucho. Está climatizada, algo que se agradece bastante, y nos hemos podido bañar incluso en días con algo de viento. También había muchas zonas de hamacas y espacios para descansar cómodamente. Por la noche, los espectáculos han sido agradables y entretenidos, con algunos especialmente buenos. Es un complemento bonito para terminar el día sin romper esa sensación de calma que tiene el hotel. Pero, por encima de todo, queremos destacar la atención del personal, que ha sido excepcional. En especial, queremos mencionar a Belén, supervisora de The Level Lounge. Su trato ha sido impecable: siempre amable, cercana, con una sonrisa, pendiente de cada detalle, llamándonos por nuestro nombre y ofreciendo una atención absolutamente personalizada. Es de esas profesionales que hacen que la experiencia suba de nivel. También queremos destacar a Nerea, compañera de The Level, siempre atenta, agradable y pendiente. Cada vez que pasábamos levantaba la mirada para saludarnos con una sonrisa, preguntándonos qué tal estábamos y si necesitábamos cualquier cosa. Un trato excelente. Y, por último, una mención muy especial para Raquel, en la entrada del comedor. Ha sido encantadora con nosotros. Nos explicó muchísimas cosas de la isla, nos dio recomendaciones, incluso nos señaló lugares en un mapa de manera totalmente desinteresada. Se nota que vive La Palma con muchísimo amor, y no hay mejor recomendación que la de una persona que conoce y siente su tierra de verdad. Gracias a ella descubrimos la isla con otra mirada. La isla de La Palma es preciosa y el entorno del hotel acompaña muchísimo. Ha sido una estancia muy especial para nosotros, y sin duda nos vamos con un recuerdo precioso. The housekeeping service was outstanding throughout our stay. As Platinum guests, we received daily room service, all done with great care. Upon learning that we were on our honeymoon, they also added a lovely touch on our last day: a gift painted by a Canarian artist. We found it a very special and thoughtful gesture. The food, in general, was very good, as is typical of Meliá hotels. We stayed on an all-inclusive basis with The Level room, and both the breakfast in the exclusive area and the dinners were excellent. Breakfast at The Level's Cape Nao restaurant was very complete, peaceful, and the service was excellent. We really enjoyed the dinners: each day there was a themed menu, in addition to other varied options, with a huge selection, the food was served at a good temperature, and the quality was very good. We also dined one night at the Mexican restaurant La Hacienda, and the experience was very positive: everything was delicious, and the service was spectacular. If we had to suggest a small improvement, perhaps the lunch service seemed a bit more limited compared to the rest of the hotel's dining options. It's also true that during the seatings we attended, at a time that is usually quite busy, there were only about 10 people in the dining room, so we understand that occupancy and the time of year might have played a role. Even so, we think it's an area that could be improved in terms of variety, temperature, and presentation, so that it's on par with the breakfasts and dinners, which we found to be much more comprehensive. We also really enjoyed the pool area. It's heated, which is a big plus, and we were able to swim even on slightly windy days. There were also plenty of sun loungers and comfortable spaces to relax. In the evenings, the shows were pleasant and entertaining, with some being particularly good. They were a lovely way to end the day without disrupting the hotel's peaceful atmosphere. But above all, we want to highlight the exceptional service from the staff. In particular, we want to mention Belén, the supervisor of The Level Lounge. Her service was impeccable: always friendly, approachable, with a smile, attentive to every detail, calling us by name, and offering completely personalized attention. She's one of those professionals who elevates the experience. We also want to acknowledge Nerea, a colleague at The Level, who was always attentive, friendly, and helpful. Every time we passed by, she would look up to greet us with a smile, asking how we were and if we needed anything. Excellent service. And finally, a very special mention for Raquel, at the entrance to the dining room. She was absolutely delightful. She explained so much about the island, gave us recommendations, and even pointed out places on a map for us, all without any ulterior motive. It's clear she loves La Palma immensely, and there's no better recommendation than that of someone who truly knows and feels a deep connection to their homeland. “Gute Lage. Keine Umkleide an Pools. Essen Note 3-. Parken schwierig. Mietwagen wichtig. La Palma ist nichts für Gehbehinderte. Wanderungen oft steil. Oft keine Liegen an vielen Stränden; nur am Hotelstrand gut. Das könnte auf der Insel besser gelöst werden. Sehr ärgerlich. Warum?”

“Leider nicht das was es verspricht. Das Hotel ist alt und definitiv an vielen Stellen renovierungsbedürftig. Gut ist, dass renoviert wird! Schlecht, das man ständig Baulärm hat (im Moment zumindest) Wir haben extra den Level gebucht! Der Service ist aber definitiv ausbaubar! In der Levellounge muss man seinen Tisch selber abräumen, da niemand es zwischendurch macht obwohl schon nur von 16-18 Uhr angebliche Premium-Tapas und Alkohol angeboten werden. Die Premium tapas sehen teilweise eher nach Resteverwertung vom Frühstück aus. Wir hatten beim Buchen eine Mitteilung, dass der Parkplatz umsonst in der Solarium-junior-Suite enthalten ist. Hiervon hatten wir einen Screenshot, leider keine Bestätigung per mail. Nach unserer Buchung gab es diese kostenfreie Parkplätze nur noch für die Höchste Zimmerkaterogie. Kein Entgegenkommen! Ganz im Gegenteil wurde man als Lügner dargestellt. Sorry aber das Verhalten beim Check-in war völlig inakzeptabel! Unsere Suite war leider nicht pünktlich fertig obwohl man wusste, dass wir im Haus sind, da wir die erste Nacht in einem einfachen Zimmer verbracht haben, weil der Level-Bereich nicht für den gesamten Zeitraum buchbar war. Geht für mich gar nicht! Alles andere ist ok. Aber der erste Eindruck wirkt nach und man betrachtet alles kritisch! Der gesonderte Frühstücksbereich fürs Level ist gut. Beim Service konnte es drauf an wer diesen erbringt ;)”
