“Visited from Canada and just finished a week-long stay - we had a great vacation! We travelled with our 3- and 7-year-old, and we’ll definitely be back. There were a few pros and cons, but nothing that would stop us from returning. Pros: The staff were amazing and very kind — huge shoutout to Juan and Israel at the buffet, they were both so amazing with our kids! The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained The pool is huge and fantastic for families The hotel lobby is stunning The buffet food was delicious, fresh, and always had great variety Rooms were very well cleaned daily and the mini fridge was always well stocked Excellent location - about a 5-minute walk to the marina and a quick transfer from the airport The spa was great -thank you to Cecilia for braiding our 7-year-old’s hair Cons: The double bed mattresses was quite worn/old (though bedding was clean) We stayed in the family room with two double beds and a bunk bed. There should be more options with one king bed and a bunk bed — none were available during our stay, and that layout would work much better for most families. Mole and tacos entrées were edible but bland — appetizers were better; we preferred sticking with the buffet Our AC leaked onto the floor at one point (fixed quickly, which was great), but the maintenance staff member asked for a tip and lingered in the room waiting, which felt inappropriate given it was a repair issue Gift shop prices were very high (e.g., ~$20 CAD for diaper wipes, ~$13 CAD for a Red Bull). Definitely worth walking to the marina for supplies Overall, a great stay - thank you to everyone at Meliá. See you next time!”See more reviews

“Me encantó la experiencia que ofreció el hotel, fue la mejor fui con mi familia y todos la pasamos increíble la comida, la calides de los empleados, me sentí en casa, la mejor experiencia la pasé en la alberca, fue tan divertido, me encantó, aprendía a bailar salsa, participe en trivias de películas, casi ganó en un fuego de ensestar pelotas en la alberca, quiero agradecer a Betty, Eukeni y Cristian, hicieron muy divertida mi tarde en la alberca, fue una de las mejores experiencias que me a otrorgado un Hotel (Translated by Google) I loved the experience the hotel offered; it was the best.
