Paradisus Los Cabos - Adults Only

“Paradisus was an amazing vacation. This has been by far the best resort we have stayed at on several levels. Staff: the staff here were top notch. Every possible want, need or desire was already anticipated and delivered. Our concierge, Carlos was friendly, responsive and extremely helpful. He fulfilled every need we had. When at the pool area, another Carlos was amazing. Each day we reserved a cabana and he already knew and remembered from the first day where we wanted a cabana and he had a lounge chair pulled up for me as well! He was right there for anything we needed . The wait staff was amazing. We never had to walk to get a drink if we didn’t want to, they were constantly walking around and taking food and drink orders . There was never a shortage of food or drink. The bartenders were fun and well equipped for any drink. Spa: the spa was quiet, relaxing and peaceful. The ladies were helpful and welcoming when you walked in. Marsala was my therapist. I had an 80 min deep tissue massage and it was by far the BEST massage I have ever had and I get massages monthly. She worked out any remaining stress I may have had. Cleaning staff: Every bathroom was spotless and well supplied with necessities. I literally saw them cleaning the walls of each bathroom. The rooms were cleaned daily and neatly arranged. The evening had nightly turn down service with chocolates on our pillows and one night we had a bottle of wine waiting for us. Night life & Activities: each night the Paradisus had different activities planned and well publicized. The fire show was beautiful, the movie on the green was fun. They laid out cushions and pillows for each couple and head phones for each person. There are several outdoor fire pits and live music in different areas. I loved that people dressed for dinner and continued the upscale atmosphere. Friendly Staff: every single person you encountered greeted you with a smile and were willing to help any way possible. Just about every person you encountered spoke English. Coffee shop: THE BEST! The coffee shop was open almost 24 hrs. They had hot or cold coffee drinks, gelato & amazing pastries ! Don’t think about calories, you’re on vacation. Size of resort & Pool: we thought the size was just perfect for us. Not too big, not too small. The pool wasn’t heated, but honestly, the water was perfect and refreshing. We’ve been to places you couldn’t even get in the water, not here!! The pool activities were fun and all inclusive. The pool area was large and plenty of space to be involved or not be involved. Swim up bar was great! We brought our thermos cups and they poured our drinks directly into them!!! If you are part of the Reserve there is another pool that is smaller and quieter and plenty of food and drink service as well. View: WOW!!! Breathtaking! It has one of the only swimmable beaches. The under current is stronger than we have ever felt, be careful. But the waves and beach are glorious! Restaurants: There are at least 5 restaurants for dinner, most needing reservations. The atmosphere of the restaurants were very unique and pleasant. The food was average, I honestly enjoyed the poolside meals more than the dinners, but considering everything else was A+, I’m not complaining. The breakfast options were nice. There is a buffet for breakfast with many Mexican breakfast options, as well as traditional breakfast and an omelette station. If you are part of the Reserve option there is another restaurant option for breakfast and lunch. The breakfast here takes a bit longer, but if you are not on a time schedule, it was relaxing and a beautiful view from your table. Jonathon and Alberto were always friendly and helpful! We truly enjoyed breakfast here. One morning they had an acoustic guitar playing and another day a flute player. We stayed a week and honestly did not want to return to reality. We had an amazing time and look forward to our return .”
