“I had an absolutely amazing experience at Paradisus Palma Real—specifically in The Reserve section. Mi esposa Elisabeth and I celebrated our honeymoon here, and the excitement was felt in every moment—from the incredible staff to ourselves, it truly made the experience even more special. I want to give a huge shoutout to Adriel (concierge) and Hilberto (beach bartender), who truly made this stay unforgettable. Their service was phenomenal from start to finish—attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Adriel ensured every detail of our stay was seamless and stress-free, always going above and beyond. Hilberto kept the experience lively and enjoyable by the beach, delivering great drinks and even better energy. The entire setting in the Dominican Republic was nothing short of breathtaking. The scenery felt picture-perfect every single day—beautiful beaches, stunning views, and an atmosphere that truly felt like paradise. Overall, an incredible experience. I highly recommend this resort, and especially want to recognize Adriel and Hilberto for their exceptional hospitality!”

“Jeffrey and Arisleida at 90 Degrees pool bar are the BEST EVER! They were the hardest working bartenders we have ever experienced. They got to know us personally, we got to know them personally, and they made our experience AMAZING. They made us feel like we want to come back to THIS resort and not experience a different one the next time we come back to Punta Cana. Jeffrey and Arisleida are the most genuine people, and we love them! Our experience at Paradisus Punta Cana was amazing. It has a beautiful beach, beautiful commons, amazing food at ALL the restaurants, and I couldn’t have hoped for a better vacation. I highly recommend Paradisus.”

“Paradisus Palma blew my expectations out of the water! My boyfriend and I came here for a week to celebrate our birthdays, job promotions, etc. We had a room at the reserve so we had a concierge named Adriel that helped us with restaurant bookings, activities, and everything in between, he was prompt with answering messages and was able to get us into all of the different restaurants at the resort!! Having the Reserve was definitely worth the value of paying a little bit of extra money. Our room was beautiful the location is absolutely beautiful, the hotel has 3 pools for reserve member only; where the atmosphere is a little more quiet, and a large pool where they do activities. The food was amazing, the Italian and Spanish restaurants being our favorites! Everybody at the resort was always working hard to ensure cleanliness of the pool areas, lobby, etc. we also enjoyed a lot of the activities the resort had to offer, we did paddle boarding, cigar and coconut oil making, and more! Adriel, Carlos,Dana,Wander, and Fernando were some of the nicest and most helpful people during our trip and ensured we had an amazing time! We will definitely be coming back and really enjoyed our stay at the Paradisus Palma Real”

“Just left yesterday & really couldn’t wait to review. We went for mother/daughter senior spring break. We had a wonderful experience & I want to review while it’s fresh in my mind! Resort is clean, beautiful, and safe. We stayed in the Reserve (adults only) and it was perfect. If you have children, staying in the regular part is truly great as well. The Reserve has a private lounge/check-in, 2 private pools, private bar, private beach section, and private restaurant (Sante). The best part of the Reserve is that you get a butler/concierge for your whole stay. They book your reservations, excursions, transportation, and they will help you with literally anything you need during your stay. Our concierge was Zenovia “Z” and we loved her! The communication is via “WhatsApp” so go ahead and download! Each day Raul was our beach person - he set up our chairs, brought us drinks, and checked on us frequently. Oh, Fernando is kind of like an events person. He is so kind and fun! Insider tips: -You do need to tip people. In the US, we are accustomed to 10-20%. It’s not that way in DR. Tip your bartender $2-3 per day, tip your beach person $5-10 per day, tip your bellman $1 per bag or $5 overall. Tip your driver $5-10 based on how far they drive you and the quality of service. We had two rooms, and we tipped our concierge $70 per family for a week ($210 total). -You will be told that you can get a driver for “free” that will take you to a gift shop. DON’T DO IT! They are all networking together and the pressure is on to buy even though they say you don’t have to buy anything. This is my only negative experience from the whole trip!! Just don’t! -Coco Bongo is a nite life experience off campus. Our teenagers wanted to go, so we spent the money (it’s expensive) and cautiously went. It was a great experience if you are up for a party/show experience. Ages 18-60s were there. Truly fun and a little out of the box. Buy tickets through Otium (on site). -Arrange your transportation & outings through Otium! Do NOT get a taxi! -Best restaurants - Italian, Mexican, Hibachi. The Main Buffet was SO good! Sante (The Reserve) has a good breakfast buffet, too. The Main Buffet never disappointed! -Half of us only drank bottled water - other half drank the filtered water they bring to the table. No one in our crew got sick, it’s just preference. -People say don’t buy off of the beach. We did…they WILL negotiate. Some almost 1/2 of what they first asked. Larimar is the stone of their country and it’s beautiful. You can tell who has real vs fake stone. Do a google search on how to tell. -Kick’s sports bar (on site) turns into a club after 10 pm. It’s mostly 18-25 yr olds. -Nespresso coffee shop was an unexpected delight every day! -The spa was good - not as luxurious as one might hope, but good nonetheless. The massage was great! They don’t offer robes, so keep that in mind. -Ginger bar is upstairs at the main entrance. They have a coffee, milkshake, and smoothie bar in the morning. At night it turns in to a bar with a show and dancing. It’s family friendly because it’s in an open area. All ages will enjoy the music & dancing. Overall, I’d say this was one of the best trips we’ve ever taken! I highly recommend Paradisus Palma Real Golf & Spa! It is safe, food is great, grounds are beautiful, drinks are good, and there was lots to do. We attended a mixology class that was fun (free). If you are not usually a “resort” vacationer, you will be blown away! We were! I’m happy to answer any questions!”

“We just got back from Paradisus Palma Real Punta Cana. I must say that if I went off peoples reviews I would have missed out on this beautiful and clean resort. The amazing beach with its beautiful sand and pools at every turn, wow such an amazing resort. The staff were always friendly and special thank you to Guillermo our concierge who was not only our concierge but an outstanding Gentleman and a man I know can call my family . He was attentive and always available for me and my family, anything we needed. I would also like to give a special Thank you to Rosanna our pool waitress who was entertaining and always made sure we were ok. Wander and junior fantastic, enthusiastic and always helpful thank you ( gracias) for everything. Food I honestly can say was very good, from the buffet to à la carte. I feel there was plentiful. All in all I would recommend this resort and I will be returning. Do not hesitate to book you will miss out on paradise!!! Also special thanks to Henler and Danielle from the circle Melia.
