Reviews of Meliá Llana Beach Resort & Spa

Well were do i start this holiday was the best we have had we have been going to cape verde for 10 years now.. This holiday was very memorable as the staff at the melia llana did everything to make our holiday exceptionally enjoyable.. We upgraded to VIP not for the first time but this year all the level staff went above and beyond to make are stay relaxing and enjoyable i recommend this hotel they never fail to make your enjoyable

i can't really say this was a 5 star resort experience, i would say maybe a 3 star and tbh i seen better 3 stars ones. The service is honestly not the greatest as everyone seems to be upset with something, not a lot of smiles, not a lot of happiness in this place. We had a couple of issues in our room that took loads of time to get solved to the point that we had to ring the reception 3 times. The Spa area is probably great but when we went the sauna and all sorts were out of service which is really upseting (this includes the jacuzzi, the buttons are not even working) . The food... the food.. the food is awfull there is no words to describe the food in this place, when you think you seen it all you get surprise for something even worst. I know the island doesnt have a lot of resources but the resorts get millions every year, the is no excuse for the poor quality and confection of the food. We had dinning at the italian restaurant aswell and it was dissapointing. The only place that is okay to eat it's probably the snack bar by the pool, i recommend getting your food from there. The hotel it self is really nice, have great views and acess to a beautiful beach...the rooms are big and the housekeeping team do a amazing job keeping the rooms lovely and clean. They should be very much appreciated for the great job they do . Overall you get what you get what you paid for.
