Our stay at the Paradisus by Meliá Fuerteventura was truly wonderful and will remain a very special memory for us. From the moment we arrived, the hotel impressed us with how clean and meticulously maintained everything was. Juan was the first to greet us and took us straight to the Reserve check in area where we upgraded our room. The upgrade was great value and includes access to a separate lounge and breakfast area with table service. We’ve never been keen on buffets but there are many other all inclusive places to eat in the hotel. The attention to detail throughout the property really stood out and created a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere from start to finish. The area is a bit isolated and so if you are looking for a peaceful relaxing holiday then this is it. One of the highlights of our stay was the Mahos restaurant. The food there was excellent, and at the Kenna Beach Club we particularly enjoyed the lunchtime menu, which was consistently fresh, well presented and delicious. There is a range of Paellas and so it quickly became one of our favourite places in the hotel. The staff also deserve special recognition. Hugo at reception in the Reserve area was incredibly helpful and welcoming, always ready to assist with anything we needed. His professionalism and friendliness made a real difference to our stay. Our favourite waitress, Elizabet, was absolutely fantastic. Her warmth, kindness and attentive service made every meal feel special and she really added a personal touch that we will never forget. She seemed to be in every restaurant! This trip meant a great deal to us personally. My wife is currently battling terminal cancer, so I was very keen for this holiday — which may sadly be her last trip abroad — to be as special as possible. None of the staff were aware of our situation, yet everyone we encountered was so genuinely friendly, caring and eager to ensure we had a wonderful time. That kindness did not go unnoticed and meant more than I can express. Thank you to everyone at Paradisus for helping create such a memorable and meaningful stay for us.
