Posiblemente el mejor Meliá de “playa” en los que he estado. Las habitaciones con acceso a la piscina de 700m así como las “habitaciones barco” espectaculares. Las habitaciones están en la planta baja del hotel y desde ellas se accede directamente a la piscina. Son habitaciones amplias con buen cuarto de baño, perfectamente equipadas para una súper estancia. Las habitaciones barco son más “espectaculares” pero salvo las que tienen vistas al mar nos parecieron que no merecían la pena para dos personas. Si vienes en familia o en grupo son una apuesta segura. El Level como siempre fantástico pero aquí un 10. Riquísimo desayuno con platos a la carta, tarde de cocteles y tapas disfrutando de la vista sobre la playa … El personal súper atento y dispuesto a ayudar en cualquier momento. Our recent stay was a bit of a mix. While there were aspects of the resort that were truly world-class, several service and maintenance issues held it back from being the perfect getaway we expected. The physical beauty of the property is undeniable; the beach is stunning, with pristine white sand and crystal-clear water that made for perfect morning walks. We also spent a lot of time enjoying the beautiful pools and lush, well-kept gardens. For the kids, the pool with the slide was a massive hit and definitely the highlight of the trip for our son, while we looked forward to the varied and delicious breakfast spread every morning. The rooms, unfortunately, felt quite run-down and outdated, which was a contrast to the beautiful exterior. We noticed the housekeeping standards weren't quite what we've come to expect in Asia; for example, toiletries were often left in place rather than being moved to properly clean the sink and surrounding surfaces. While the housekeeping ladies were lovely and very kind, it felt more like a training issue than a lack of effort—they just didn't seem to have the attention to detail required for a resort of this caliber. This hit-or-miss service extended to other areas as well; while most people were lovely, a few staff members were surprisingly unfriendly, which stood out as quite unusual in a warm, welcoming country like Thailand. The most disappointing part of our stay was the Kids Club. Our son was 23 months old at the time, and we felt the staff there largely ignored him. They repeatedly suggested he stay in the "baby area" downstairs, which was sparse and filled with broken books. One day, the staff even took the older children outside because our son was "interfering" by simply wanting attention and to be included in the group. We honestly did not feel welcome there, which was heartbreaking given how much he wanted to play with others. To make matters more frustrating, the resort recommended a nanny agency that charged nearly four times the average rate for Koh Samui. While standard professional rates on the island typically range from 300 to 400 THB per hour, the recommended service was significantly overpriced, making it feel like an unnecessary additional expense rather than a helpful guest service. If you are looking for a stunning beach and great pools, this resort delivers, but families with toddlers may find the childcare experience and overall service standards a bit frustrating.

Unser Aufenthalt im Meliá Koh Samui war von Anfang bis Ende absolut großartig. Das gesamte Team hat dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns jederzeit willkommen und bestens aufgehoben gefühlt haben. Die Freundlichkeit, Aufmerksamkeit und Professionalität aller Mitarbeitenden hat unseren Urlaub zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht.Ein besonderes Dankeschön möchten wir an Runi richten. Ihre herzliche Art, Hilfsbereitschaft und ihr Engagement haben uns wirklich beeindruckt. Sie hat immer ein Lächeln auf den Lippen und war bei jeder Frage sofort zur Stelle. Dank ihr und dem gesamten Team hatten wir das Gefühl, mehr Freunde als Gäste zu sein.Die Anlage selbst ist traumhaft schön, sehr gep0egt und bietet alles, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Auch mit unserem Zimmer, dem Service und den Annehmlichkeiten waren wir voll und ganz zufrieden.Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können das Meliá Koh Samui absolut weiterempfehlen!

A lovely hotel in an excellent and peaceful location. It’s situated on a beautiful beach, yet still conveniently connected and not isolated. The hotel is quite large, which is its only downside as it takes away from a more “boutique” feel. That said, the dining room is excellent, the staff is very pleasant and polite, and there is plenty of space to relax. There aren’t enough activities for children, and the hotel restaurant is excessively expensive.

Alles war super! Die Zimmer waren total ordentlich und immer sauber. Das Personal ist außerordentlich nett und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war sehr vielseitig und immer frisch. Die Athmosphäre ist sehr entspannt und man hat immer ein Platz am Pool und Strand gefunden. Die Lage ist echt super und der Strand ist wie aus nem Bilderbuch. Um das Hotel herum am Strand gibt’s auch reichlich Restaurants mit Livemusik und Feuershows. Vor allem der Pool, der ganz ums Hotel geht es super schön. Dort ist es super schön und auch nie voll es macht einfach super Spaß da zu schwimmen und sich alles anzuschauen. Kann das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen!!!
