Great hotel, spacious rooms and very attentive staff. Perfect location for the City Centre 5⭐

Had an absolutely brilliant stay at INNSiDE by Meliá Manchester — one of those hotels that really gets everything right from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional and genuinely friendly, which set the tone straight away. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and everything felt really well organised. The room itself was excellent — spacious, modern and spotlessly clean. The design is very sleek and minimal but still comfortable, with plenty of room to relax. The huge windows let in loads of natural light, which made the whole space feel bright and airy. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and all the little extras like the coffee machine, minibar and workspace made it feel really well equipped whether you’re staying for business or leisure. The bathroom was just as impressive — very clean, modern and finished to a high standard, with a great walk-in shower and good quality amenities. Everything felt fresh and well maintained. One of the highlights of the stay was being selected as “Guest of the Day,” which was such a nice surprise. It came with a complimentary drink at the bar, which added a really personal touch and made the experience feel that bit more special. The bar itself had a great atmosphere — stylish, relaxed and perfect for unwinding in the evening. Location-wise, it’s ideal — close enough to the city centre to walk everywhere easily, but still in a quieter area so you can properly relax. Overall, it’s a hotel that delivers on comfort, style and service without feeling over the top. Everything just works, and you feel well looked after throughout your stay. Would definitely return and highly recommend to anyone visiting Manchester.

This hotel is in a great location close to city centre, great transport, canals and good pubs. The restaurant staff are very good although the prices are rather inflated for the quality. We had a good sized room with city views. The open plan bathroom is quirky and the shower wasn’t the best. Ladies bring a shower cap and a decent hairdryer 😉. As other reviews have rightly said, some of these rooms wouldn’t be suitable for certain situations but as a couple it was fine for us. We brits do like a bit of privacy so bear that in mind when putting your Melia influence here. We got the free bus here from the Piccadilly railway station but it’s a good 20 min walk otherwise. Free water and soft drinks in the room and a silent fridge was a nice touch. Saw the imperial war museum, a canal cruise down ship canal, the science and industry museum and the Manchester art gallery with all the Lowris. So much culture and much of it was free. Trust us to be here on St Patrick’s day when Manchester City were playing. A great break though!

Staff were pleasant and the hotel looks very nice but I wouldn't really class it as a 4 star. Considering the price, the bed was like sleeping on a slab of stone and the pillows were very thin - I've had much more comfortable sleeping arrangements at a premier inn for half the price. We did not receive a bathrobe or slippers as advertised, and the open plan bathroom layout is just a terrible idea resulting in little to no privacy, and the towels were also quite hard and scratchy. The lighting situation in the rooms is also a bit wild. Can't turn the toilet light on without the whole bathroom area coming on, oh and there's a lamp but you can only have that on if you have the big light on in the room. Overall, wouldn't stay here again, there's better for cheaper.
