“I would have given 5 stars however smell in the room and the food most days have let it down. From walking into the hotel we felt this was a good location to explore the city and the surrounding areas. The hotel looked clean and modern. It also had an indoor pool and kids play area which we could use most parts of the day. We had a family suite, which was nice with a large balcony. The issue started from the 1st evening. There was a horrible rotting smell from the toilet which got worse through the night. It persisted despite blocking the bath drain/sink drain and we could only close the door all night to prevent the smell from reaching the bedroom. We had mentioned this to reception on 3 occasions. Each time we were promised maintenance repairs/assessment but it was just the same everyday. We went for half board with breakfast/dinner. Whilst breakfast was similar to other similar resorts, dinner was disappointing. Grilled meat/fish were dry and salty. To make things worse no drinks are included and we had to pay extra for water. We found staff helpful throughout the restaurant and were greeted everywhere we went.”See more reviews
