“Was really exited about my stay here upon arrival. The location is fantastic, and the hotel is beautiful but they clearly had some ongoing construction still visible right out of the gate with a fork lift at the main entrance. My room was nice with comfortable beds/pillows, great view, and had everything you’d want in a room, except the bathroom left a lot to be desired. The bathroom floor including the shower was dirty to start. They did come to clean it but had to wait 30 minutes, so I was already anxious to get my trip started but instead was waiting on a cleaning. Later I discovered the shower had a leak that shot out water all over the bathroom, that was supposedly fixed while I was at the pool, but instead they just disabled the rain shower head leaving me with just the hand held option, then let the cleaning crew in which I didn’t want. When I told them it was still not working and I felt dissatisfied they just said they’ll send another technician (cause that’s what we all want on a 3 day stay, 2 invasive maintenance visits and additional and unnecessary cleanings afterwards) I felt like my room was a revolving door of people, I like my space to be left alone unless it’s a more lengthy stay. I felt as though any concern I brought up wasn’t really taken seriously, almost like I wasn’t as important of a guest as the lady with the YSL bag they let cut in front of me after waiting patiently at the front desk. It felt that if you don’t look expensive, you won’t be treated as a priority. Also the construction is still ongoing and will ruin your pool day plans. I luckily overheard them tell someone else it was only going from 10am-2pm so I was able to plan around that. I don’t like to leave negative reviews but this experience made me feel like I was not really respected or that my business and money was not appreciated. Was here to celebrate my birthday by the way, just wanted some peace and privacy, or at the very least some consideration.”
