“We recently stayed at Meliá Chiang Mai and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The hotel is in an excellent location, within walking distance of the Night Bazaar and the Ping River, making it a perfect base for exploring Chiang Mai. Our Luxury Escapes package offered exceptional value, including daily buffet breakfast, a three-course lunch or dinner, nightly cocktails, and a complimentary spa treatment. The food at Laan Na Kitchen exceeded our expectations. Every meal was beautifully prepared, and the menu offered a great selection of both Thai and Western dishes. A heartfelt thank you to Lolita and Marcela at Laan Na Kitchen. They were incredibly warm, friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Their genuine hospitality made every dining experience enjoyable and memorable. We would also like to express our appreciation to Aom at the Front Desk, who kindly helped us search for a nearby hair salon. Her patience and willingness to assist were greatly appreciated. A special thank you goes to Pang, who thoughtfully arranged an early birthday surprise for my hubby. We were greeted with a beautiful birthday cake and a lovely handwritten welcome message signed by Lalita de Boer, Guest Experience Manager. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay feel truly special and personalised. There was a small communication oversight regarding our complimentary late check-out until 1:00 pm, as the arrangement had not been updated in the system. We received a call at around 12:15 pm reminding us to check out, which caused some confusion. However, Tarn from the Front Office handled the situation professionally. She apologized sincerely and immediately offered us complimentary drinks as a thoughtful gesture of service recovery. We really appreciated how promptly and graciously the issue was resolved. What impressed us most was the genuine warmth and professionalism shown by the team. Every staff member we encountered made us feel welcomed and well cared for. Thank you to Lalita, Pang, Aom, Lolita, Marcella, Tarn, and the entire Meliá Chiang Mai team for making our holiday such a memorable one. We would not hesitate to stay here again on our next visit to Chiang Mai and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional hospitality.”See hotel
