The best free viewpoints in Madrid
One of the free viewpoints is the Paracuellos viewpoint, located to the north-east of Madrid. This spot offers a great view of the city from above. While it's a bit out of the way, it's definitely worth a visit.
Another popular viewpoint, near Plaza España, is the Temple of Debod. This ancient Egyptian temple, surrounded by gardens, provides one of the best sunset views with the Royal Palace in the background.
Cerro de Los Ángeles, recognized as the geographical center of the Iberian Peninsula, offers unique panoramic views of the city. Similarly, Cerro del Tío Pío, often called the “Park of the Seven Teats” in Vallecas, is an excellent place to admire many of the city’s most famous buildings.
