Its most universal attraction is the Panama Canal, a brilliant feat of engineering that is a bridge between two oceans, the Atlantic and the Pacific. If we cross the canal, we can discover a country as magnificent as it is surprising.

A bridge between two oceans

The range of cultures this country brings together is as enormous as the number of things there are to do. If you like city tourism, you’ll love the capital Panama City. And not only because of the amazing canal. If you prefer “greener” tourism, you’re also in luck! This is the perfect place to enjoy nature. Flying over the Dairén jungle, one of the most biodiverse places on the planet, swimming near the exotic island of Coiba and enjoying its spectacular ecosystem and fauna, or surfing in Santa Catalina, one of the best surfing locations in Central America, are just a few of the unique experiences you can enjoy in Panama.

The official currencies are both the Panamanian balboa and the US dollar. Foreign currency can be easily exchanged at banks and exchange offices.
The most widely spoken official language is Spanish, although other indigenous languages such as Ngäbere, Kuna and Embera are also official languages.
In the urban areas of the country there are free public Wi-Fi hotspots. The quality of the signal is usually good.
The climate in Panama is tropical. During the year, the temperature fluctuates between 24⁰C and 32⁰C and rarely gets hotter or colder.
