Mi marido y yo estamos muy agradecidos con el servicio y la atención recibida durante nuestra estancia en el hotel: Desde los dos chicos que nos recibieron en la recepción a las 6:30am el primer día, ambos muy agradables, resolutivos y siempre con muy buena energía. Así como todas las mañanas en los desayunos en el bufet, las chicas muy atentas, preparadas siempre para solucionar dudas y atenderte con amabilidad. Y sin duda, la chica que pacientemente nos preparó la habitación, y la dejó siempre como nueva. Deseo destacar: su estratégica ubicación, su higiene en general, cero malos olores, cero roedores, tranquilidad absoluta, y siempre: personal en general muy amable y con buena onda. After staying at the Melia in Madrid, our experience at Melia Granada was noticeably different in both service and room quality. We upgraded to a suite for three people. While the suite was spacious, there was a bathtub in the bedroom separated by only a curtain. This layout was not thought through very well. Also, the bathroom lacked privacy. There were two thin doors (one to the hallway and one to the bedroom), and neither had a lock, and sound carried easily. We could hear each other sniffle through the doors. On the first night, the thermostat setting read 15 deg, but it was so warm, yet we were told there was no way to turn up the A/C or the fan to get some circulation, so we slept with open windows. We asked where to get ice, and told to ask room service. They charged us 3€ for it. Breakfast selection was the exact same selection two days in a row. It was okay for one day. We also did not appreciate to hear the same lo-fi bar/lounge music from snack time and happy hour playing so early for breakfast, too. Whatever happened to a quiet morning? The staff was generally friendly; one employee even asked which of the two Melia hotels we preferred, but we didn't have the heart to be honest. The main highlight is the excellent location, within walking distance of everything.
