“We had the most amazing honeymoon in the Melia resort. We were genuinely surprised by the rooms; everything feels like new or recent. All the places feel clean and very well serviced and everyone is very welcoming so it was a fantastic experience. “몰디브에서의 전반적인 경험은 정말 만족스러웠다. 풍경은 말 그대로 그림 같고, 바다 색감이나 자연 환경은 기대 이상이었다. 리조트에서 스노클링 장비도 대여해줘서 별도 준비 없이도 충분히 즐길 수 있다는 점도 좋았다. 다만 예약 당시에는 Barceló Hotel Group 계열이었는데, 방문 전 Meliá Hotels International 계열로 변경된 점은 다소 당황스러웠다. 별도의 사전 고지는 없었지만 계약 조건 자체는 그대로 유지되어 큰 문제로 이어지지는 않았다. 몰디브는 리조트 브랜드도 중요하게 고려하는 여행지인 만큼 이 부분은 아쉬움으로 남는다. 또한 한때 구글 리뷰에서 부정적인 평가가 많았던 것으로 알고 있는데, 현재는 상당수 리뷰가 정리된 느낌을 받았다. 직원 서비스 측면에서는 아쉬운 부분이 있었다. 전반적으로 직원들이 친절하지 않은 것은 아니지만, 기대했던 5성급 서비스와는 거리가 있었다. 특히 레스토랑에서 근무하는 직원 Rejin의 경우, 표정이 거의 없고 주문을 받는 과정에서 무시당하는 듯한 느낌을 몇 차례 받았다. 이틀 동안 세 번 정도 비슷한 경험이 있었고, 단순한 기분 탓으로 넘기기엔 반복적인 부분이었다. 결론적으로 자연 환경과 시설은 매우 만족스러웠지만, 서비스의 일관성과 직원 응대 부분은 개선이 필요해 보인다. 여끡밥듀 아쒑꼬 원랭 가섕뷔루 유먕핸 곧인뎅멜리야로 계열 바뀌먄서 가격창렬늒임 수즁환겨듀 그쟈그럐욥 직원들듀교윢 덜된 느낌 강햐서 갂음 기분 쫌 쎄함 이돈내꼬 여긔 머무를바엔 딴곳 고려하능거 ㅊㅊ”

“We’ve just returned from eight unforgettable days, and our stay was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived by seaplane, the warm and unexpected welcome set the tone for an extraordinary experience. It was our very first “wow” moment, and many more followed. Our villa with a private pool was absolutely stunning. The only thing we missed was a welcome card or a small fruit amenity in the room—especially since these touches are highlighted in the hotel’s own promotional materials. Considering we stayed in one of the most exclusive villas, it felt surprising not to receive them. The food throughout our stay was excellent. The buffet offered great quality and variety, and the à la carte dinners on the beach were truly exceptional. If anything, the premium drinks package felt a bit limited, as it only included cocktails from the set menu. Classics like a daiquiri or even a Baileys weren’t covered, which was unexpected for a premium option. The excursions—spotting whales, turtles, and manta rays—were fantastic and beautifully organized. What truly elevated our stay, however, was the kindness and professionalism of the entire team. Every staff member we met was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay memorable. A special mention to the General Manager, Lisa, with whom I had a wonderful conversation—she is truly exceptional. Overall, we wholeheartedly recommend this resort and sincerely hope to return one day.”

“My sister and I stayed the last six days in this resort. We wanted to write about our experience there, which has been absolutely incredible. The island is fantastic, quiet beaches, explendid blue water and local fauna which makes you take a thousand pictures. We stayed at the water sunset villa and it was huge, the cleaning was great and the minibar which was complimentary was adequate. But most importantly, above everything else what made our stay unforgettable was the staff. We wanted to say thank you specially to Haam and Reijin from the Sea Salt restaurant, they were really attentive, always one step ahead of our needs. We also did three excursions, to the reef, to see manta rays and whale sharks and even though we were unlucky and we couldn't see the last one, the staff once again made the experience enjoyable (thanks to Saaim, Marty and Aru). Overall, we highly recommend this hotel, and hopefully we can come back!”

“Wir haben 6 Nächte in einer Wasservilla auf den Malediven verbracht, um unseren Hochzeitstag zu feiern. Die Wasservilla selbst war grundsätzlich schön, allerdings renovierungsbedürftig. Einige Holzbalken waren bereits locker, was bei einem solchen Preisniveau nicht passieren sollte. Leider war auch die Sauberkeit in Teilen des Resorts enttäuschend. An mehreren Strandabschnitten befand sich Müll im Wasser – von Plastik bis hin zu Essensresten. Das hat das sonst paradiesische Ambiente deutlich beeinträchtigt. Sehr enttäuschend war die Situation bei unserer Abreise. Aufgrund der aktuellen Lage im Nahost-Konflikt wurde unser Flug kurzfristig annulliert. Trotz dieser außergewöhnlichen Situation mussten wir um 13:30 Uhr auschecken. Uns wurde keine kulante Lösung angeboten – entweder sofortige Abreise oder eine zusätzliche Nacht auf eigene Kosten (selbst die günstigste Option lag bei knapp 800 USD). Für ein Resort dieser Kategorie hätten wir hier deutlich mehr Verständnis und Flexibilität erwartet. Die Küche war leider ebenfalls ein Kritikpunkt. Die Auswahl war sehr begrenzt, und das Essen führte häufig zu einem unangenehmen Völlegefühl. Auch beim All-Inclusive-Angebot war es mühsam: Man musste bei jeder Bestellung sehr genau angeben, welche Marke man möchte (z. B. Jameson Whiskey mit Cola). Bestellte man beim nächsten Mal nur „Whiskey Cola“, erhielt man automatisch eine günstigere Variante. Zum Schnorcheln ist das Resort nur bedingt geeignet. Es gibt wenige Korallenriffe, entsprechend wenig Fischvielfalt und nur selten etwas Besonderes zu entdecken. Positiv hervorheben möchten wir jedoch die Organisation unseres Hochzeitstages. Dieser wurde wirklich sehr schön und liebevoll gestaltet – dafür ein großes Dankeschön. Auch die Kellner und das Servicepersonal waren stets freundlich und bemüht. Insgesamt hatten wir uns bei diesem Preisniveau mehr Qualität, Sauberkeit und Kulanz erwartet.”
