“Beautiful ocean front hotel. Impeccable service. The hotel offers a large pool and plenty of restaurants and a spa onsite. Guest-rooms are good size and offer panoramic ocean views. They also have a daily breakfast buffet that is fully stocked and very good.”

“Una estancia inmejorable. El hotel es espectacular, su desayuno buffet nos encanta. La comida exquisita y gran variedad, las vistas preciosas al mar. Los trabajadores siempre tan amables y resolutivos. Su trato con mi familia ha sido impecable. En las habitaciones siempre nos ponen un detalle para mi niña. Nos sentimos como en casa siempre que venimos. Nos hemos hospedado unas 15 veces. Sus instalaciones como el spa y las pistas de tenis nos encanta. Sin duda repetiremos.”

“We had the most amazing long weekend stay at this wonderful hotel, not only in a perfect location right on the promenade but the amazing staff really do make this hotel special ! Axel the most delightful and super concierge who really couldn’t do enough for you and who made our stay extra special , to the whole team around him from front of desk to waiting staff etc they all really need to be commended ! You are not far from the beautiful old town with lots of lovely shops restaurants etc , Cappuccino cafe and restaurant is just outside the gate on the promenade..fabulous to watch the world go by there’s lots of lovely beachside restaurants and a 35min walk into Puerto Banus along the golden mile … a simply wonderful walk… Banus with lots of high end restaurants, shopping etc as well as Zara and the shopping mall. As other reviewers have mentioned maybe the rooms are slightly dated / old style and the bathrooms a little on the small side but that view made up for it …breathtaking … truly we have stayed in many hotels around the world and we have to say this is up there with some of the best , if only for the staff which normally you get in Thailand , the staff are five star all the way ! We would not hesitate to recommend”

“We had the most wonderful stay at Hotel Don Pepe Gran Meliá over New Year’s with our six-month-old baby, and I can confidently say this is the best resort we’ve ever visited! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to assist us with every request, always finding a solution for anything we needed. The hotel itself is spectacular, with beautifully maintained rooms that are not only spotlessly clean but even tidied up twice a day—a level of service that truly stands out. Traveling with a baby can sometimes be challenging, but the hotel made everything so easy for us. They provided everything we needed and even went the extra mile by preparing special food for our little one. One of the highlights of our stay was our experience with Michela, our babysitter. She was so warm and caring that we felt completely at ease leaving our baby in her care—an absolute gem! The Erre Restaurant was another unforgettable experience, offering exceptional cuisine that exceeded all expectations. Every dish was a delight, making our dining experiences truly special. We would return in a heartbeat and can’t recommend this hotel enough. If you’re looking for a luxurious, family-friendly resort with outstanding service, Hotel Don Pepe Gran Meliá is simply unbeatable!”

“Excelente Melia en Marbella. Que recomendable! Y que recomendable venir en temporada baja..! Hace la experiencia totalmente paradisiaca, e imagino que los precios, mucho más accesibles. Ubicación perfecta en pleno paseo marítimo, habitaciones preciosas y con todo lo necesario, desayuno espectacular, con preciosas vistas y personal estupendo (con la única pega del solazo incombatible pues no funcionan los toldos/cortinas), piscina muy bonita, increíble piscina cubierta con saunas y spa, bares muy chulos (pega; en capucchino no podian cargar a la habitación ni aplicar los descuentos de ser Gold) y encima alberga un restaurante del nivelazo de Erre. Muy recomendable!”

“Desde el momento en que puso un pie en el hotel Don Pepe Gran Meliá me sentí como en casa. El personal, desde recepción hasta el servicio de habitaciones, fue especialmente atento y personalizado, recuerdo que al llegar a mi habitación había una pequeña nota con nuestro nombre, fotos con mi pareja, globos y otros detalles que nos encantaron. Además nos invitaron a un cóctel de bienvenida y estaba delicioso. Los detalles el ambiente acogedor hicieron de distancia una experiencia verdaderamente inolvidable.”
