“Ik was hier eind mei tot begin juni 2026. Met mijn dochter en haar vriend (beide 16 jaar). Een heerlijke periode om hier op vakantie te gaan, vond ik. Voldoende gezelligheid en nog niet te druk. Heerlijk strandweer, en nog niet te warm. Nog voldoende plek op de ligbedden bij het strand dat bij het hotel hoort. Het zwembad met de zitkuil viel goed in de smaak bij de tieners. En het all-inclusive concept vind ik zelf ideaal met kinderen. Hoeven ze mij niet elke keer te vragen om een drankje of een snack. Ik kwam ook voor mijn rust, tenslotte. Kamers zijn prachtig ingericht. Ze zien er modern uit. Het bed lag goed. En de kamers werden dagelijks goed schoongehouden door de vriendelijke dame van de facilitaire afdeling. Uiteraard zorgden wij er zelf ook voor dat het geen rommel werd in onze hotelkamers. Wat mij beviel is dat het allemaal laagbouw is. Geen treurige hoge flatgebouwen. De tuinen zien er verzorgd uit. Er lopen enkele katten op het terrein. Gezellig vind ik dat. Voor de deur is een bushalte. Gemakkelijk om vanaf daar met de bus naar bijvoorbeeld Iraklion te rijden. Of je kunt de boulevard af lopen om de lokale winkeltjes te bezoeken. Het eten is wat je kunt verwachten van een hotel als dit. Schoon en ruim voldoende keus in bv (dagelijks wisselende) verschillende soorten vlees, vis, vega. Flinke salade en fruit afdeling. Ruime keuze aan bijgerechten, vers brood en desserts. Bedienend personeel verzorgt drinken aan tafel. Ik had een vraag over een ingrediënt van een gerecht. De kok kwam speciaal uit de keuken om uitleg te geven. Elke avond was er een andere vorm van vermaak bij de bars. Griekse dansers, zangers en zangeressen en een dj. Leuk om even de dag bij af te sluiten. Het (vaak meertalige) personeel vond ik overal even vriendelijk. Of het nu de receptie betrof, het restaurant, de bar en snackbar personeel, de spa professionals, de toezichthouder van het strand of de schoonmaak medewerkers; iedereen was zo ontspannen en gastvrij. Ook de onderlinge sfeer van het personeel leek mij heel goed. Belangrijk, omdat dat ook afstraalt op de gasten. Al met al een groot compliment!”

“Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub im Blue Sea Beach! Das Hotel besticht durch eine wunderschöne Lage in der Bucht von Stalis/Malia in direkter Strandnähe (nur eine ruhige Einbahnstraße trennt das Hotel vom Strand). Es ist eingebettet in eine top gepflegte Gartenanlage, die etliche Liegemöglichkeiten und ruhige Rückzugsorte bietet. Gewohnt haben wir in einem grandiosen Zimmer mit Meerblick und Balkon, in dem wir uns absolut wohl gefühlt haben. Es war modern sowie geschmackvoll eingerichtet und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Man kann wirklich von einem nahezu perfektem Hotelzimmer sprechen, das man selten so erlebt! Kulinarisch wurde zu jeder Tageszeit etwas besonderes geboten. Das Frühstück wurde sehr amerikanisch gehalten und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Mittags und Abends waren die Angebote recht ähnlich: eine große vielfältige Auswahl an wechselnden Salaten, warmen Speisen sowie Nachtisch. Alles in allem sehr lecker und von guter Qualität. Klassiker wie Nudelgerichte oder Pommes fanden ebenso Platz wie ausgefallene Gerichte oder Highlights aus der regionalen Küche Kretas. Dazu die ganztägig geöffnete Snackbar am Pool, die mit kleinen leckeren Speisen für zwischendurch wartete. Besonders loben möchten wir das Personal. Man fühlte sich schon beim einchecken an der Rezeption wie zuhause. Die griechische Herzlichkeit war überall im Hotel zu finden. Jeder war stets bemüht den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten, was auf jeden Fall geklappt hat. Wie auch schon vor Ort versprochen: Wir werden wiederkommen!”See more reviews

“We recently stayed at Blue Sea Beach Hotel affiliated by Meliá in Stalis, for 8 nights and our experience was nothing short of exceptional. First and foremost, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to the General Manager, Mr. Yannis. We originally booked a Sea View room and were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a Sea View Bungalow. To make our stay even more memorable, we were later upgraded again to a Junior Suite with a private pool. These thoughtful gestures truly made our holiday unforgettable and exceeded all our expectations. The food throughout the hotel was outstanding. Both the buffet and the restaurant offered a fantastic variety of dishes and desserts, all prepared to a very high standard. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. A special shout-out goes to Head Chef Ilias, who was constantly present, checking the buffet, ensuring everything was replenished, and maintaining the highest quality standards. His dedication and passion were evident every day. The hotel’s location is simply perfect. Situated right on the beachfront, it offers stunning sea views and direct access to the beach. At the same time, it is conveniently close to bars, tavernas, car rental companies, and souvenir shops, making evening strolls and exploring the local area extremely enjoyable. We would also like to thank the entire front office team and restaurant staff. Every member of the team was welcoming, professional, and always greeted guests with a smile. Their warmth and excellent service contributed greatly to making our stay so special. Thank you to everyone at Blue Sea Beach Hotel for an amazing holiday.
