ME Malta

Room was super clean, and they clean 1-2 times a day. I am impressed with facilities of the hotel, the heated pool, the products in and the quality of the room. Staff were attentive to guests. Loved the flowing prosecco during breakfast. It's a day before check out but I know I should not forget to leave a good review.

I recently stayed at ME Malta and had a fantastic experience, largely thanks to the incredible service. A huge thank you to Julia and Paula from Guest Experience. Their professionalism and dedication were outstanding. They helped us organize an improvised Fit Gipsy Dance (Flamenco+Fitness) event at the last minute, and thanks to her flawless organization, everything turned out perfect! The hotel is modern and stylish, though it is important to note that it is located in the heart of Malta's nightlife district, so it can get quite noisy at night.

We stayed at ME Malta by Meliá on a very last minute booking, reserving at 1:45pm and checking in at 3pm, and overall it was a very good stay. On arrival we were warmly greeted, our bags were taken care of, and check in was smooth. The only downside was the upselling at reception. We paid €200 for an upgrade and were told it would be a significant one. While we did move into a suite, it did not feel like a major step up, particularly without a sea view. Even with such short notice, the hotel made a real effort. We had a bottle of wine, a note, and a cake waiting in the room, which was a lovely touch. The suite itself was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable, and service throughout the hotel was very good. The spa was a highlight, with a good size and a relaxing indoor pool area. However, the spa bar was not open and there were no water refreshments available, meaning you had to walk back out to reception. The Wi-Fi was frustrating, as I could not get it to work despite trying both my member login and my room number with surname. The location is ideal, right on the edge of the busy St Julian’s area, so you are close to everything without constant noise. We had no noise from other rooms or floors, just some from the street one night, which is understandable. Overall, a very good stay, especially for the price, but the upgrade did not quite match how it was presented at check in, and the Wi-Fi issues were inconvenient.
