This hotel has a very long history for those who loves historical facts. Before becoming Melia Hotel it was originally built as a hospital to treat workers during the construction of the Panama Canal, later turned into a military hospital, and later converted into a military academy named Escuela de las Americas. It was later overtaken by Dictator Manuel Antonio Noriega.

Buena experiencia. Muy bonitas habitaciones. El servicio ha mejorado.

Love staying at the Melia. Different experiences with the lake, huge pools, delicious food and a beautiful building.

Era el mejor hotel en colón para fines recreativos. Tengo entendido que ya cerró sus puertas al público.

Had a great staying experience here. Nice resort near the panama canal. Food was great too.
