Melia hotel is the best place to stay. The place is close to the tourist spot. Also the staff are very accommodating specially Tung Do - who gave us recommendations on the places to visit.

Everything was great, breakfast was good and tung do the guest experience officer was really good and can communicate well

Staying at Melia Hanoi was truly a first class experience. From the moment you arrive, you are treated as an important guest. We saw a diplomatic corps from different countries arriving and literally walking in on a red carpet. We felt just as valued and appreciated by all, from the front desk to all the rest of the staff. The Concierge Desk had a helpful and energetic staff of attentive young men who helped facilitate our laundry pickup and even recommended a hair salon where I had an amazing experience. Our suite was unbelievably spacious and almost the size of a one bedroom apartment with 1.5 bathrooms. The facilities are gorgeous and the location cannot be beaten. We walked easily to all the nearby sites. Although, all of those features are important, the true gem are all of those that work there. The nurse , Ms. Hoa and the Mr. Tung Do from Guest Experience deserve special recognition. They both came quickly to our room shortly after our arrival. I was having some problems with my digestive system and she quickly made some recommendations, wrote the name of the medications that I could buy at a pharmacy, and even gave me some of the same medication so I could start the treatment immediately. Thanks to her expert advice, I felt incredibly better within 24 hours. Mr. Tung Do continued to check on me throughout our stay in a friendly and personable manner. We left for two days to Halong Bay and are so happy that we will be returning to this hotel again for two additional nights upon our return.
