“My wife and I had a great time at Zel Punta Cana. The place is beautiful and elegant. If you want paradise this is it! The resort is compact which is great with so many palm trees and greenery it gives you a very peaceful and tranquil feeling. If you are looking to drink and party this is not your place. The staff as a whole is very friendly and welcoming but Warner from reception was especially helpful. Arisleidy, Smirna And Viviana from the breakfast buffet and Tacorini restaurant were wonderful, they were very friendly, helpful and always had a smile. Angela the buffet supervisor was very friendly and came around to make sure we had everything we needed. Alfredo, one of the cook’s from the buffet was excellent and went out of his way to prepare us something special for breakfast! Mari from Volcan and Nokyo restaurant was super! We also loved Rainieri from Neguri(beach restaurant) who also went out of her way to get us something special for lunch! All that being said, there were some cons: the buffet was closed every day for lunch and dinner except for a few pizza slices and dessert. We were never told this would happen until it was dinner time and we didn’t have reservations for one of the restaurants since we just arrived that afternoon! Apparently there were not enough people staying at the resort to have the buffet open and guess we didn’t count too much! But I will say reception did go out of there way to take to a sister hotel for dinner. Another con is the beach because it had SO much sargassum. Also there was absolutely no entertainment at night except for Voltaje lounge that opened at 9pm and played great Spanish music! We would definitely consider going back because we did have a great time.”Ver hotel

“We travelled as a family of 10 ranging from children to seniors, the hotel catered for all ages. The lobby area was very warm and welcoming. Just outside the lobby was a lovely large pond with turtles and fish. The rooms were spacious and had good amenities. The restaurants provided a wide variety of food and the bars provided premium and branded alcohol. The beach was clean. The gym was well equipped. The main pool was a great size with a lovely pool bar. The coffee shop provided tasty milkshakes. The staff were polite and helpful. The aqua park had a variety of good slides. A great stay and would definitely recommend.”Ver hotel
