“We have just returned after one week. We stayed in Sol 2. The rooms aren’t big enough for 2 adults and a child, barely enough space to move around but 2 adults fine. The bed was a little on the hard side for me. The staff, entertainment and location are brilliant. Rooms done every day but my only complaint there is that the cleaner would open our balcony door and leave it open all day and not shut it behind them. Not only from a security point of view but also letting in bugs and mosquitos as we weren’t then able to close it until we got back. This happened several times. When leaving the room we always ensured it was closed. So we got bitten a lot. At peak times there was a queue for the lifts but we were on the second floor so would use the stairs. In terms of food, the salad, pasta, fruit and breakfast was all good. Evening food was what you’d expect in a typical all inclusive.”

“First visit. Hotel was always clean in every area. The food choice was good and catered for all tastes. The pool areas were great. The staff were friendly and the entertainment team worked there socks off. The rooms were extremely clean though the beds were a little uncomfortable! All in all a great stay😊”

“We spent more than a week here on an all-inclusive stay. Overall, it was an okay experience, but considering the price, I think there are quite a few things that could be improved. The location is good, very close to the beach, and we had a really nice view from our room with a private balcony. The food was generally good, although I would have liked more variety, especially more seafood options. One thing we really enjoyed was the outdoor dining area. It was great to be able to have breakfast, lunch and dinner outside, and the meal times were very convenient, with long opening hours for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food and drinks were also regularly replenished, so we never felt rushed. One of the biggest disappointments was the coffee. There was no good coffee either at breakfast or at the bar. After a few days, they installed a bean-to-cup machine, which was much better, but it kept breaking and was often unavailable. The cleanliness of the rooms could also be much better. The rooms and bathrooms are quite dated and really need renovation. The mattress was also very uncomfortable, and we woke up with back pain almost every morning. The entertainment was okay and sometimes quite fun, but it became repetitive during a longer stay. Most evenings were either shows/circus-style performances or karaoke in the bar. We would have appreciated more live music, concerts and different types of evening entertainment. It would also have been nice to have some music or a small disco after the evening shows, rather than the entertainment ending there. The wristband system is convenient, and it was great that we could use the all-inclusive facilities even before check-in and after check-out. However, the system with tokens and reusable plastic cups for drinks was quite annoying after a while, as you constantly have to carry your cup or remember the token. Overall, we enjoyed our holiday, especially the location, beach, views, outdoor dining and all-inclusive concept, but the hotel would definitely benefit from renovation, better room cleaning, better coffee and more varied entertainment.”
