Gracias nuevamente.

We booked this through Costco. Fitness and health are both important to me. So here is my lens. *** Recommend to book your own transport, we spent considerable time waiting on both ends, and they wouldn’t allow us to change our departure time, and we sat at the airport for over 2.5 hours, after getting through check in and security in 20 minutes. Make sure to bring 1,5,10,and 20 bills to tip the staff, we couldn’t get change a few times for 50’s or 100’s. The staff works hard, they deserve a tip for their efforts in many cases. Best thing – Swimmable beach. Bring goggles or snorkel, mask, and fins. Worst thing – The Gym The Good: Water front beach, with an abundance of wildlife. The Yoga classes with instructor Daniel. One of our favorite parts of the trip, we went 3 out 5 days as he is a very good instructor. Class was different each day, hammock yoga was a unique experience for us. The cleanliness of the facility. The friendliness and service attitude of the staff. Jamie our server at lunch multiple days was a great. The fire show on Saturday night. The Country music on Friday night. Luis Enrique our host was quickly responsive, and had all the information. Francisco our beach attendant was always working bringing us and other guests drinks, and he nailed the drink order every time for 5 days. Room cleaning was daily, and thorough. Bell hop service guys were great. The Bad: The GYM SUCKS… Limited free weight equipment, cheap and outdated cardio equipment (Get some Concept 2 rowers, bike ergs, and ski ergs), and limited floor space. Low ceiling and no wall space, no pull up bar or squat rack. They jammed so many pully machines in there, there was hardly any floor space, super dark, and closed off, overall this was the biggest whiff on a beautiful compound otherwise. If the idea is relaxation and wellness, exercise space and equipment should be top notch. The cost of services at the spa was very high, $190 USD for a 50 minute basic massage. The Spa did not have a hot tub or cold tub, the Steam room and Sauna were not heated or ready for use. Overall, the spa was a huge L. My masseuse did not work on the areas I asked for, he stuck with his routine. The frozen mixed drinks routinely had chunks of ice in them. The breakfast buffet was lackluster. The baked goods all seemed oldish, as in they had been put out multiple days. The scrambled eggs seemed powdered. The mark up on prices for higher quality food was very high. It was $44 USD for a Cold tub experience offered 1 day. The sheets on the beds were plastic feeling. They did not restock our snacks and water each day as they said they would. They did not regulate guests playing vulgar and loud music at the beach. Listening to songs talking about snorting coke, getting dicked down and the words Pu$$Y and Fu$k over and over was lame. The sales pitch for the vacation package was poor, but we did get massages paid for. Food: Overall, decent food experience 3 out of 5, nothing crazy memorable, only a few bad items. Had to custom order most items to get higher protein or low sauce. Healthier food options were available but you have to order specifically what you want and how you want it done. We were here for 5 nights, we enjoyed our lazy mornings and long afternoons at the beach. We did not do any excursions.
