“Our stay was great, very beautiful resort. The grounds are well maintained. The staff extremely courteous, professional, and in great spirits at all times. The standouts for us were Juliette who went above and beyond, Luis which was the 1st member of the team who assisted with our bags, and 3 bartenders, Edith, Irving, ans his brother, were absolutely amazing. Only improvement i would say that would be needed is the food and for a premium package there isnt any too shelf alcohol. But the stay was amazing. Goregeous sunrise on the beach.”

“Pros : •Room was nice •Garden view we had had a beach view too •Food was amazing all restaurants were worth trying •Reserve concierge answered and did all our reservations •Beach was gorgeous and accessible (at your own risk) •Drink were good •Great photo ops •Customer service top notch •Room service was 5/5 Cons •Reserve option didn’t provide much value •Construction occurring around the resort which caused levels of noise to certain parts; required us to request a room change because of it •Entertainment was very mid •No AC anywhere where entertainment is held •Bugs at night; you will see water bugs roaming the halls •Setting up transportation prior to arrival was a complete difficult task ; game of cat and mouse to email and get confirmation for this Detailed review: Paradisus is overall a beautiful experience. The food is amazing including room service, the garden view room and beach views were great, the photo ops and sky bar as well. Sidenote, definitely try the ice cream shop, it’s very good. It’s more of a relaxing resort so if you are seeking a high party vibe resort, look elsewhere. Christina our concierge via the reserve, was sensational. She went above and beyond to assist us in everything , answer all our questions and concerns and book our dinner reservations daily. She even got us a room change as the first room given to us was close to maintenance construction noises which was extremely loud and disturbing. The room change allowed for our stay to be quiet and calm. The beach was gorgeous and water so clear and clean . Be careful though, as the waves and currents can be dangerous at times throughout the day. The service here is top tier, all the workers are so polite, greet you everytime and assist you in everything. I will say the entertainment (with the exception of the fire show and live Latin music which were marvelous) lacked in drawing people in. They were lackluster and in a sense, boring. It didn’t help that the area where they are held has NO A/C or fans WITH a fire pit near the seating areas; not sure who’s bright idea was that in an extremely hot country. I will say, you will see huge water bugs around the resort. Rooms and places are clean but hallways in certain buildings had the occasional water bug the size of your phone which was not cool to see in person. Transportation was also on point with great service however booking it and receiving confirmation prior to our arrival to the resort was an absolute hassle. We went through hell to contact several emails and got a run around before finally receiving our transportation voucher (which was all included in our the reserve reservation) the day prior to our flight. It caused stress so I’d wish they fix this issue to avoid future guests from dealing with it. Decent assortments of excursions but it didn’t draw our attention and at the price point wasn’t too appealing . Overall I would recommend anyone to come here and enjoy the relaxing vibes and supreme service. I would advise to travel here between December - May as to avoid hurricane season. I enjoyed my stay here very much and had a wonderful experience.”
