The official currency is the Colombian peso. In banks and exchange houses you can easily exchange foreign currency.
The official language is Spanish, although they have a reputation for not fully pronouncing the end of words.
There are several free public Wi-Fi hotspots. However, the connection is not always very fast.
The climate is typically tropical. Hot all year round, with minimal temperature variations.
