The Meliá Bilbao Hotel is an Accessibility certified hotel thanks to the adaptation of the hotel to the needs of the disabled, senior citizens, families with kids and other people with reduced mobility. The certification verifies the work done to adapt the facilities to different types of disabilities: physical, visual, hearing, intellectual and organic (people with breathing difficulties or special dietary needs).

The certification has been awarded by the Department of Industry, Innovation, Commerce and Tourism of the Basque Government.
