  • The former Turia riverbed is a green area measuring 230 hectares which crosses Valencia from the Bioparc to the City of the Sciences and is perfectly equipped with everything needed for you to enjoy with your family.
  • In the areas that cross the old riverbed you can find sports areas (an athletics track, a baseball field, a rugby pitch, 7 football pitches and 4 multi-sports courts), plus a cycling zone, skating zone, children play areas, (different games areas and the Gulliver park), as well as table tennis, chess tables, mini golf, giant chess and a mini climbing wall.

  • The Albufera de Valencia is a shallow coastal lagoon (average depth of 1 m) locatedon theMediterraneancoast to the south of the city of Valencia.
  • It is 23.94 km2, and surrounded by 223 km2 of rice fields. Its watershed covers an area of 917.1 km², which extends from sea level to an altitude of some 1,000 metres above sea level.
  • It is separated from the sea by a narrow sandbar with dunes stabilised by pine forest (Dehesa del Saler).
  • The Albufera is a resting point for many different species of migratory birds.
