Welcome to my Malaga!
My name is Adela and I am the Family expert at the TRYP Alameda. This tour is one of my favourites and one I would do if it was the first time I visited Malaga and wanted to enjoy the city with the family.
We can visit the castle. On Sunday mornings there are performances and exhibitions of the different uniforms of each age. We can continue walking to the viewing point where we have a wonderful panoramic view of the city of Malaga, the bull ring, La Malagueta and the Cathedral Basilica of la Encarnación.
La Alcazaba is a building which dates back to the 11th century. Behind La Alcazaba is the Roman Theatre. Continue walking and you will see Malaga Park, next to the port, with the Bull Ring and the beach of Malagúeta in the background, ideal in the summer for the kids for a fun day on the beach.
New leisure port in Malaga and meeting point for the local residents where there are many activities for kids and exotic gardens. Plus, there is a wide range of restaurants to be enjoyed with the family under the Malaga sun.
Aula del Mar is a marine museum located in the city of Malaga. The facilities include 30 aquariums with a total capacity of 50,000 litres distributed amongst five rooms occupying a total of 300 square metres. There are also exhibitions of over 1,000 species of marine animals in three themed rooms.
There are 13 theme parks in the province of Malaga:
After a day’s excursion there is nothing better for replenishing your energy with a dish of “montes” composed of Migas, cold meats and peppers.
